Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for full accounting functions, preparation of financial reports, CPF, payroll, and other general finance related duties.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Financial Advisory, brokerage or related industry.
• Office administration and other functions related to CPF, MOM, IRAS, and dealing with auditors.
• This position reports directly to the CEO.

• 3 years experience in similar capacity.
• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy with professional qualifications.
• Meticulous, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Good team player with pleasant disposition.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk-based financial, operational, value-for-money and other audits and advisory projects
• Responsible for risk assessment, planning and conducting audits covering operational processes and systems
• Using audit software for data analysis and documentation
• Prepare and present audit reports to the Management and Audit Committee / Board
• Any other ad-hoc task as assigned

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Business Administration or equivalent
• Possess minimum 2 - 4 years’ Internal Audit experience
• Prior experience in financial, operational and compliance audits is preferred
• Proficiency in internal control policies and business process controls
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
• A good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good in reporting writing
• Experience in Data / Business Analytics tools is advantageous

The role

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be a key member of our team, working closely with our clients to understand their unique challenges and design custom solutions that leverage our platform to address their specific needs.

You’ll collaborate with our sales, product, and marketing teams to develop and present technical solutions that solve business challenges. You will use your expertise to help our clients unlock the full potential of our platform, enabling them to streamline their operations achieve business goals.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like in this role:

• Collaborating with the sales team to provide detailed product information and knowledge to existing and potential customers
• Develop a deep level of product knowledge and skillfully answer product and industry-related questions during the sales cycle
• Create and deliver proposals and presentations that meet customer requirements and objectives
• Frequent travel to customer sites and industry events
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices including competitive differentiation and positioning
• Liaise with Marketing & Product Teams to help define development priorities and marketing collateral based on market requirements and growth opportunities

What you bring

• Maritime experience with strong understanding of navigation and compliance
• Degree in related field
• Previous years of experience in a similar role, such as software ERP software development/sales, or technical consulting in product development
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication and presentation skills
• Interpersonal skills (Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams)
• Understanding of sales cycle and solution selling processes
