To support the positioning of MUFG as a lead bank in providing and anticipating key sector themes, insights on opportunities and solving strategic and financing challenges for our clients through the effective utilization of skill sets across corporate and investment banking, with a focus on debt financing/capital structuring and deal execution.

• Successful candidate will proactively support deal origination and execution as well as regional client engagement activity for our Energy & Resources sector vertical. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to support deal flow across verticals covering Emerging Energy Solutions; Utilities, Infrastructure & Transport; Technology, Media and Telecommunications; Industrials & Mobility; and Consumer & Healthcare.
• Sector Coverage undertakes key roles within Global Corporate and Investment Banking APAC, including (1) engaging senior client executives with thematic and scalable cross-sector insights; (2) originating event driven opportunities with local coverage, product and distribution partners as well as for leading origination and execution of corporate M&A debt financings; and (3) engaging with internal stakeholders to promote optimal risk-return outcomes across the portfolio. The successful candidate will be involved in all of these activities with particular focus on credit analysis, modelling/valuation, due diligence, loan structuring and debt financing/deal execution across APAC.
• Drive execution of strategic financing solutions through: (i) supporting credit decision making with the development of financial models / analyses (including but not limited to comparable transactions / peer analysis) that enables better understanding and monitoring of deal risk, (ii) supporting day-to-day management of project and transaction administration, and (iii) supporting the preparation of marketing materials, transaction documentation, investor / management presentations, etc.
• Successful candidate will also support Sector Coverage team with our origination to distribution engagement activity working closely with coverage bankers, Debt Capital Markets and product partners.
• Carry out research to enable the delivery of sector expertise across sub-sectors including winners and losers, trends, potential deals.
• Contribute to establishment of the MUFG profile as lead bank across our sector verticals (conference, branding etc.).

Job Requirements:

Educational qualification

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 1 year’ experience in corporate finance or leverage finance as an analyst at a bank.

Responsibilities

• Conduct review and analysis of credit risk assessment.
• Conduct independent and impartial credit risk analysis of existing and potential borrowers for (amongst others) creditworthiness and repayment capability.

Gen AI evaluators (Data Analyst)

Job Requirement:

• Identify key performance metrics and evaluate the success of Gen AI initiatives.
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering, data pre-processing, and data ingestion techniques in the context of Generative AI systems. (Good to have)
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)

Enhance Generative AI Accuracy:
1) Build and curate a comprehensive knowledge base to serve as a foundation for the Generative AI model.
2) Evaluate and analyse AI-generated responses to identify areas of improvement and optimize accuracy.

Response Analysis and Evaluation:
1) Identify, analyse, and assess the quality of AI-generated responses, ensuring they align with company standards and customer expectations.
2) Collaborate with the AI Development team to implement necessary adjustments to improve response quality.

Data Set Maintenance:
1) Deconflict and curate data sets across various platforms to ensure a diverse and clean input for the Generative AI model.
2) Regularly update and refine data sets to reflect evolving language trends and user preferences.

Knowledge Base Updates:
1) Perform daily updates to the knowledge base, integrating the latest product information, industry updates, and relevant content.
2) Ensure accuracy and relevance of information provided by collaborating with product owners and subject matter experts.

Demand Analysis:
1) Engage in call listening activities to identify emerging demand topics and customer preferences.
2) Provide insights and recommendations to the AI Project Manager for enhancing AI-generated responses in response to these demands.

Collaboration with Product Owners:
1) Establish effective communication channels with product owners to continuously enhance the knowledge base and refine AI responses.
2) Actively gather feedback and insights from product owners to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI interactions.

The Senior Lab Analyst is part of the pioneer team in the startup of EVAL production line, assisting the Chemist in setup of QC Laboratory at new EVAL site, including training of Laboratory analyst, Laboratory system establishment and management to achieve safe and stable commissioning and startup of the new plant.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or Science related field.
• Min 5years experience in analytical laboratory environment.
• Hands-on experience with GC, ICP, Titration and polymer testing equipment
• Hands-on experience with equipment calibration and reagent preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform raw material, intermediate and final product Quality analysis.
• Interpret and report test results accurately and timely based on test method.
• Supports troubleshooting technical issues pertaining to equipment and analysis.
• Support establishment and maintenance of lab system and equipment validation and calibration.
