What the day will look like

Brainstorm innovative ways to bring out insights from our data to answer business problems.

Help define relevant measures to highlight the strength of the solutions to different stakeholders.

Collaborate with a team of experienced actuaries, data engineers, developers, and business experts to build Aon’s data, analytics and GenAI capabilities.

Build pipelines for data cleaning, and data transformation while ensuring good code quality.

Build statistical, machine learning and large language models to identify and deliver key data insights.

Design and develop production-grade analytical tools to drive innovation, efficiency, and scalability.

Design and develop production-grade test cases to evaluate models, focusing on accuracy, repeatability, and alignment with expected results.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. in engineering, statistics, analytics, or any other equivalent discipline with a strong statistical background.

Hands-on experience with data cleaning, building statistical/ML models and interpreting the results. Experience with unit/regression testing for analytics is a plus.

Hands-on experience working with GenAI technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Ollama, vector store, llamaindex, etc.) to build real-world applications. Knowledge about model fine-tuning is a plus.

Experience working in product teams with focus on designing and developing analytical capabilities.

Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python, and PySpark. Knowledge of Databricks is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while adapting to dynamic requirements and priorities.

Fluent presentation and communication skills and ability to convey technical analyses and information in a clear and concise manner to a wide variety of stakeholders.

Understand and follow best practices to ensure performance and maintainability of analytical projects.

About the job

You will be based in Singapore and will report to the Lead, Rider Growth. Your role is to improve rider acquisition throughput (leads, conversion rates etc.) through experimentations and innovation. You will also assist in tasks which ensure smooth running of our day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Main owner of Rider Growth KPIs, initiating and executing projects with the aim of improving said KPIs
• Identify and solve problems by analyzing and deriving insights from large and complex sets of data, conducting tests and experiments to validate hypotheses
• Forecast, manage and define the allocation strategy for rider acquisition & growth budget
• Analyze and track the performance of campaigns and incentives related to rider supply, with a focus on cost and performance optimization
• Build reports and dashboards to track KPIs
• Improve quality, conversion rates and lead times of the rider onboarding workflow with a focus on automation, digitalization and cost optimization
• Develop models to anticipate supply needs on a zonal level, as well as daily/weekly growth achievements
• Ideate and conceptualize the design and messaging of creatives for rider acquisition purposes, consistently monitoring performance marketing metrics
• Collaborate with the regional team to ensure effective product roll outs
• Identify product features improvements and bugs for resolution to enhance rider onboarding and rider app experience
• Ensure compliance with the government regulations and company policies and coordinate regular training/testing for the Logistics team
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in data analytics and enjoys working with large and complex sets of data
• Proactive, strong problem solving skills with the eagerness to bring fresh ideas to the table
• Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting to leadership/ C-Suite
• Excellent SQL and Excel skills, Python is a plus
• Working knowledge of Tableau (or any BI reporting tool)
• Experience with marketing & growth analytics (good to have)

Responsibilities

• Manage daily collection operations to maximize productivity and achieve targets.
• Handle credit control tasks, including payment processing and cancellations.
• Work on recovering non-performing loans (NPLs) by creating and executing repayment strategies.
• Assign call leads and monitor team attendance and performance.
• Handle and resolve team and customer complaints, ensuring proper documentation.
• Review teams promises-to-pay (PTP) commitments according to guidelines.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews and call monitoring for quality assurance.
• Improve collection strategies and processes with management input.
• Oversee account assignments for pre-charge-off actions and agency follow-ups.
• Track collections targets and escalate any shortfalls or issues to supervisors.
• Monitor delinquency trends, providing feedback and insights to management.
• Improve processes for credit control and collections.
• Ensure compliance with industry guidelines and regulations in all collection activities.

Requirements:

• Possess at least Diploma in Banking/ Business Management or Finance or Equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a Bank or Financial Institution
• Good team player and able to work independently.
• Good time management skills and able to meet deadlines.
