The role conducts equity research and fundamental stock selection analysis to provide investment recommendations to the portfolio management team (consisting of the Chief Investment Officer and General Manager, Investment) and internal clients, and to assist with the management of the equity portfolios. The role will be part of a team of generalist equity analysts covering global equities.

The role requires strong analytical and financial modelling skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the screening of stock ideas, idea generation, bottom-up fundamental analysis, and due diligence of companies in order to make investment recommendations in-line with the team’s investment processes.
• Ability to apply bottom-up fundamental approach to equity research.
• Carry out due diligence on companies including conducting interviews with company management, competitors, suppliers, and customers where possible.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIRED
