The Role

The successful incumbent will work closely with the finance and operations team and will be responsible for cost reporting activities. Tasks include reviewing and allocation of costs, analyzing prior month adjustments, ensuring the accuracy, processing of invoices, performing monthly reconciliation, establishing new vendors, liaising with agents and reviewing of agent’s performance and compiling of reports, as well as analyzing the performance, etc

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you should possess minimum qualification of a Degree in Finance and Accounting, are well versed in accounting concepts and bring along with you 2 years of accounting experience. You are analytical, a quick thinker, with high attention to details. You are organized and have a willingness to learn, with good communication skills and the ability to work with tight deadlines. Prior experience in SAP will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive business workshops with channels, core systems' and other stakeholders to gather business requirements for developing the product/project backlog in the payments domain
• Prepare user stories/functional specification document and ensure completeness
• Conduct walkthrough sessions with business stakeholders to clarify and confirm user stories/functional specification document

Requirements

Job Description Summary

d. Review Test Scenarios, help plan and support the user acceptance testing and help address any issues. Ensures that there is a business perspective on how the new operations and technical capabilities will be delivered to the business.
e. Spot potential problems, recognize the risk impact and propose risk mitigation strategies.

4. Managing RUN
a. Manage communication and regular updates to business stakeholders on ‘critical’ production incidents and problems impacting customer and business operations
b. Regular review with business on system stability, responsiveness, production incident, problem tickets including identification of root cause.
c. Track for continuous improvement. Ensure early identification and resolution of challenges impacting BAU systems.
d. Monitoring the fulfilment of service levels between GTO and the business segments and highlighting required actions to close gaps where needed

5. Sustainable Improvements
a. Build a sustainable process for measuring benefits to ensure T&O resources are aligned to business initiatives which provide the highest ROI.
b. Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications

Job Requirements:

Your Role

• Execute General Ledger activities and monthly closing activities for APAC regional offices in accordance with the close calendar ensuring corporate accounting policies and effective internal controls are being adhered to.
• Collaborate closely with corporate accounting teams and work across different functions and stakeholders to see through the monthly accounting close, ensuring all critical accounting matters are appropriately identified and dealt with.
• Further improve the month-end close process and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting for APAC regional offices. These include analysis of accounts and preparation/review and investigation of monthly accounts reconciliations.
• Prepare/Review monthly/quarterly corporate reporting in a timely and accurate manner for corporate & local statutory reporting, consistent with IFRS, and GlobalFoundries accounting policies and local GAAP (ie. FRS where applicable).
• Coordinate and manage the annual statutory audits, dealing with the Auditors and ensuring timely completion of the annual audit process.
• Prepare statutory accounts in FRS
• Support internal audits to ensure record keeping and sound corporate governance are maintained, in accordance with the requirements of auditors and government agencies/Regulatory bodies
• Responsible for the timely delivery of regulatory reporting and statistical surveys.
• On ad-hoc basis, support technical accounting projects and system improvement projects.

Required Qualifications: ​

• Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance or Equivalent Professional Qualifications (e.g. CA)
• Min 6 years of working experience preferably in a multi-national manufacturing company or CPA firm
• ERP work knowledge is a plus
• Semiconductor industry knowledge is advantageous
• Initial years spent in CPA firms or Chartered Accountants would be helpful

Purpose of Job

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for supporting on-time delivery to customers and inventory management across WEO Corporation. The role involves collaborating with the Planning & Purchasing teams to ensure alignment across production sites, support data analysis, and assist in streamlining supply chain operations.
