Job Overview:
The Business Revenue Analyst (Team Leader) will play a crucial role in optimizing revenue for the car rental company by analyzing and interpreting data related to pricing, demand, market trends, and fleet management. The role will focus on identifying opportunities for revenue growth, improving profitability, and supporting strategic initiatives through detailed analysis and forecasting. This analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, and Fleet Operations, to align strategies and drive data-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Optimization & Forecasting:
o Develop and maintain revenue management models to optimize pricing and fleet utilization.
o Analyze demand patterns, market trends, and pricing strategies to maximize rental income.
o Create and update forecasts for revenue performance and fleet utilization.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Generate and distribute regular reports on key revenue metrics, including occupancy rates, pricing effectiveness, and market positioning.
o Provide insights into performance drivers and identify revenue risks and opportunities.
3. Market & Competitive Analysis:
o Conduct market research to assess competitive positioning and industry trends.
o Evaluate the impact of external factors, such as seasonality, special events, and economic shifts, on rental demand and pricing strategies.
4. Strategic Pricing:
o Assist in developing dynamic pricing strategies based on data-driven insights.
o Monitor competitor pricing and recommend adjustments to remain competitive while maximizing profitability.
5. Collaboration & Strategy Development:
o Work with Sales, Marketing, and Fleet Operations to align revenue strategies and initiatives.
o Support the implementation of promotional campaigns and assess their impact on revenue.
6. Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement:
o Track and analyze the performance of revenue management strategies.
o Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 4-5 years of experience in a evenue management, financial analysis, or data analytics role within the car rental or transportation industry.
- Proficient in data analysis tools, such as Microsoft Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in building financial models.
- Understanding of demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, and market segmentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable way.
- Knowledge of HP Loan ACT and NON-ACT accounts, including the management and assessment of active hire purchase loans, as well as the evaluation and handling of non-active or settled accounts. Skilled in analyzing loan performance and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
