ABOUT THE ROLE

We are now extending the application to interested candidates who would apply for the role of System Analyst-Developer to join our Service Delivery Division. The candidate must be an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual with real passion for new age digital transformation profession who would work closely with our Division Manager and (internal / external) stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our services.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the quality of a System Analyst-Developer who is savvy in providing technical solutions to our clients. You would also work closely with the client’s User Task (EUC/RPA/Tools) team and internal/external stakeholders to track and implement solutions that relate to quality or process improvements.

Key Area of Responsibilities (KAR):

• Work closely with end users to identify pain points and propose suitable automation solutions.
• Develop tools for migration and operational processes.Clarify which tools need to be developed / revised based on the gap of the As-Is / To-Be system and business operation processes
  Development of migration tools (Migration data creation using Access, etc.), any other new tools in order to adapt with new operation processes
  Modify existing systems and implement new functionalities as required.
  
• ReportingReport issues related to the development and progress of daily activities to User owned EUC/RPA/Tools PIC
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure developed solutions align with business needs.
• Any other duties related to this role.

Basic Requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Access, Excel macros, and RPA tools.
• System implementation and automation tool development experience in banking projects (trade-related preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to bridge user needs and technical solutions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Hands-on experience of using Access and Excel macro, UIPath (RPA)
• Business knowledge in Trade area preferred.
• Willingness to undertake travel within the APAC region when is required.
• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and transform large datasets for analysis. This may involve working with programming languages such as, SQL, R/Python, JavaScript, etc. to create automated data processing flow. Codes should be clean and well-documented.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and interactive visualisations for data exploration to help end-users make informed data-driven decisions. This includes using analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, ZOHO and/or Tableau.
• Manage data quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and implement data governance policies and standard operating procedures (SOP) and conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and address challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into analytical tasks and present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and tools in the data analytics space and evaluate how they can be used to improve the company's analytics platform and services.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science with min 3 years of experience in related field
• Customer-first mentality with a high dose of empathy and passion for the Built Environment,familiarity with IoT (Internet-of-Things) devices and their data streams.
• Familiarity with version control systems (GIT and others), CI/CD practices, testing and migration tools for database and software and understanding of A1 Modelling.
• Experience working with APIs and SQL databases.
• Familar with tools such as PowerShell, Apache Spark, PySpark, etc.

Mandatory Skills

• Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in technology business analysis or software development, and familiar with business applications in investment/banking industries.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong ability to manage and align expectations of senior level business stakeholders across different business units to accept solutions proposed by project teams.
• Possess strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and a team player who has growth mindset and confident to work independently.
• Hands-on experience in conducting business analysis functions, stakeholder management, solution designing, software test planning, vendor management and production support.
• Experience in the documentation of BRD, FSD, use cases, visual modelling and business processes.
• Experience in ETL/ELT process, SQL and API.
• Experience in Agile methodology skill with strong delivery mindset.
• Good understanding of financial application, workflow, UI/UX, database design and software engineering best practices."

A regional bank is seeking a VP, Financial Reporting & Regulatory Reporting to join the team.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be the key person ensuring financial reporting standards a adhered to SFRS and MAS requirements. You will lead a team of 7-8 pax, oversee daily financial accounting operations activities, regulatory reporting activities and tax related matters.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years relevant experience in financial accounting within a bank. Accounting certifications would be highly advantageous. Strong communication skills a pre-requisite as you will be required to work closely with key stakeholders. Mandarin language is required as there are native Chinese stakeholders that you will need to liaise with.
