Supporting the day to day development activities by working with the application development team on database issues

Responsibilities:

- Familiarity with Singapore, Hong Kong and international financial systems and requirements.

- Responsible for the development of the group's financial management system, including financial accounting, fund and budget management, financial supervision and analysis, internal control system, etc., with ongoing monitoring of effectiveness.

- Participate in the formulation of company strategies and provide financial analysis and decision-making support for key company matters, production and operations, business development, and external investments.

- Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the company's annual financial budget, organize comprehensive budget management, inspect budget execution, and analyse and adjust budget plans.

- Develop the company's financial analysis system, organize regular financial and special analyses (monthly, quarterly, and annually), and provide decision-making analyses.

- Lead financial management, cost management, budget management, accounting supervision, auditing, inventory control, etc., striving to reduce costs, increase revenue, and improve efficiency.

- Organize regular training and professional guidance for financial system personnel, continuously improving the overall skills and management level of the department.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or above in finance or related majors, with preference for CPA or international financial-related certificates. Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.

- Over 8 years of experience as a financial head in a medium to large Hong Kong-listed company.

- Over 6 years of financial management experience in large-scale listed manufacturing companies (with a scale of over 5 billion), with strong comprehensive capabilities in group budgeting, manufacturing costs, and operational analysis.

- Familiar with financial management, with experience in team management (over 80 people), and familiarity with manufacturing process costs.

- Proficient in financial-related software such as SAP and ERP.

- Familiar with national and local regulations and policies, proficient in accounting laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.

- Strong organizational, coordination, and teamwork skills, with excellent analytical and coordination abilities.

Job Overview:

• Responsible for executing financial and accounting operations, ensuring that all transactions are processed promptly and accurately in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) established with customers. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely updates for all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions in the accounting system efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor outstanding AR balances and manage the debt recovery process.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements, as well as financial and management reports, for review by the Supervisor or Officer-in-Charge.
• Verify expenditure bills, financial records, and reports to ensure compliance with current procedures, guidelines, and accounting practices.
• Conduct briefings and training sessions for finance personnel on policies, procedures, and systems.
• Safeguard financial documents and maintain the confidentiality of customer financial information.
• Address customer queries regarding financial transactions and postings.

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE NITEC in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in finance/accounting.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Team player with strong attention to detail, able to work independently, and possesses analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Job:

 Handle group monthly consolidation preparation and reporting.

 Perform account reconciliation, ensure proper intercompany transactions and eliminations.

 Review inter-company activity and balances and prepare group audit schedule and other group reports.

 Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting pack, annual audit and ensure timely filling of statutory financial statements and group reporting.

 Submission of ad hoc group information in support of HQ business decision making.

 Assist in preparation and analysis of financial data to support group reporting.

 Ensure accounting reports are in compliance with accounting standards.

 Highlights exceptions and provide feedback to management on key findings.

 Assist in process improvement, procedure and policy review and system implementation.

 Support Treasury for group cash management.

 Support Tax on providing financial related information and schedules.

 Any other ad hoc assignments as designated by manager.

Requirement :

 Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.

 Experience in group consolidation, financial analysis and system implementation are preferred.

 Good planning and organizational skills.

 Good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with multiple stakeholders of diverse nationalities.

 Flexible and able to work independently and perform under pressure.
