Your Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in the Risk Management – Financial Crime Compliance team, you will be expected to provide strategic sourcing services related to regulatory compliance, Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), corporate governance, enterprise risk management, internal controls and internal audit, to our clients in financial services (FS) industry. You are also required to assist organizations to maintain effective and efficient controls, in order to manage organizational and strategic risks. Also, to be able to contribute to our advisory business in FCC, where advisory services on FCC target operating models, business processes and internal controls are in compliance with regulatory requirements without compromising on customer experience that are provided to the client.

• Min. 2 years relevant Financial Crime Compliance (AML/ CFT, KYC, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption and Fraud) experience in banking, insurance, asset management, and/or in a big public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of expectations of regulators such as MAS and HKMA. Knowledge of other ASEAN jurisdictions’ AML regulations and environment, and practical experience in the industry a plus.
• Knowledge of the global risk and regulatory environment, especially developments in the FCC space.
• Graduate degree in law, finance or commerce preferred.
• Industry related certification (e.g., CAMS or ICA diploma in AML)
• Demonstrate strong planning, execution and reporting skills
• Analytical skills; specifically, the ability to assess and decompose financial services industry processes utilizing a risk and control focus

Candidates with lesser experience will be considered at Associate Level.
• Experienced in Data Visualisation e.g. Tableau, Cloud Security
• Have at least an understanding of MAS regulations around IT risk management such as Technology Risk Management, Outsourcing and PDPA.

Candidates who possess professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain good relationship with new/existing clients and provide full recruitment support
• Perform research and understand clients and their industries well
• Source for suitable candidates via networking, social media, advertising and referrals
• Conduct interviews with candidates and assess their suitability based on client's requirement and needs
• Create profiling of the suitable candidates to be proposed to the engaged clients for consideration
• Provide professional advice to clients and candidates to manage the expectation
• Coordination of interviews arrangement between clients and candidates
• Conduct reference check on candidates on behalf of clients
• Coordinate and negotiate on salary offers on behalf of clients and candidates
• Perform post-recruitment follow up with clients and candidates
• Work closely with different teams to fulfill client's needs

Requirements

• Candidate must have at least 1 year of recruitment experience will have a distinct advantage
• Portfolio (by job functions basis) assigned will be determined on mutual agreement basis
• Candidate who is flexible, ability to multitask, adaptable to changes, willing to learn and improve, self-driven and a team player will have a distinct advantage
