Our Ideal Candidate

• 5 plus years experience in Banking industry especially Financial Crime related roles is a requirement.
• Strong understanding of Financial Crime related processes, technology, rules and regulations are requirements,
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Statistics.
• Prior experience in Process Improvement / Process Excellence / Change Management and Transformation type roles would be an advantage
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent would be an advantage
• Ability to use Python or R to perform Statistical and Data Analysis is an advantage

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst role focuses on detailed planning and analysis of the income statement, improving business performance and forecast accuracy, and contributing to critical decision-making for Pfizer’s management.

As part of the team, your insights will be instrumental in monitoring business performance, ensuring compliance, and enhancing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead FP&A activities: Annual budget preparation, quarterly forecasting, and movement analysis for operational spending.
• Prepare monthly reports for senior leadership, including spending trends and variance analysis.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly reviews for financial adjustments and ensure accurate reporting on intercompany allocations.

Spending Management

• Collaborate with cost center owners to provide detailed spending analysis and address queries.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Jedox Planning and Forecast systems.
• Monitor key balance sheet accruals, including operational spending and expatriate costs.
• Drive continuous improvements for budget processes and accrual accuracy.

Financial Reporting

• Estimate and reconcile Viatris recharges under the Tuas tolling model.
• Support financial audits, including internal and external audits on spending variance and P&L commentaries.

Compliance and Coordination

• Liaise with Global Business Services (GBS) on invoicing, billing, and government surveys.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
