Job Descriptions:

1. Management reports:

• Prepare monthly trial balance and balance sheet schedules,

JOB SUMMARY

• The Financial crime end to end Programme aims to evaluate FC processes E2E to improve client experience, enhance control effectiveness and deliver cost transparency. The role of the E2E Operational Transformation Initiative Specialist is to drive specific transformation initiatives helping to ensure that the programme has strong end to end process foundation, and support the FCE2E Operational Transformation Lead in the following:
• Evaluate technology proposals with a solid understanding of future process need. Contribute to a model where process foundations are strong and CTQs are well defined and understood.
• Support the execution of assigned process simplification initiatives within the FCE2E Program, from set-up to implementation; providing on-the-ground process management and improvement expertise.
• Identify process optimization opportunities and align priorities with regional / local stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support improvement projects such as kaizen events and DMAIC projects to identify improvement opportunities and achieve targeted improvements, bringing together cross functional teams and following a structured stage-gate approach.
• Scope new process improvement and transformation opportunities working together with process owners and other stakeholders, with the aim to set the change initiatives up for success. E.g., define problem statements, objectives, measure of success, project team resource requirements, and roles and responsibilities.
• Execute cross functional initiatives, baseline current state performance, identify and validate root causes, prioritise and implement solutions.
• Establish effective performance management across various levels of the organisation. Provide guidance on building effective and well-balanced management scorecards, as well as operational dashboards to run day-to-day operations.
• Demonstrate good application of lean six sigma tools such as CTQ (Critical to Quality) trees, FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), VSM (Value Stream Maps) and other relevant tools based on improvement need.
• Maintain a relentless focus on removing process waste in order to optimise capacity.
• Perform cost benefit analysis for the opportunities identified and provide sufficient business case for decision making. Revise these cost-benefit analysis and business cases throughout the project/programme lifecycle as required.
• Manage projects/programmes ensuring on-time delivery, define and comply programme governance and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the lifecycle of the initiatives.
• Actively identify potential risks and issues related to the delivery of change initiatives and propose mitigation actions in a timely manner, escalating major issues.

Team Summary

Visa is looking for a Financial Crime Analyst based in Singapore to be part of Currencycloud’s Asia Pacific (APAC) New Business Onboarding team. Currencycloud is part of Visa Group entities and covers Visa’s regulated payment business within Money Movement Solutions (MMS) in APAC. Currencycloud is also consolidated under Visa Direct which streamlines all of Visa’s cross border payments under one unified branding. The Currencycloud APAC New Business Onboarding team is an essential partner to the MMS business. The team provides solutions-oriented advice to ensure timely client onboarding, address stakeholder queries promptly, complete tasks within Service Level Agreements (SLA), and perform all duties to a high standard.

What a Financial Crime Analyst does at Visa:

This role, based in Singapore, supports the Currencycloud APAC New Business Onboarding Manager with new client onboarding. It reports to the APAC New Business Onboarding Manager and is part of Visa’s expansion in the region.

The core responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• Responsible for new business onboarding applications for Financial Institutions, Payment Institutions and Corporates in a myriad of industries and jurisdictions

• Carrying out know-your-customer (KYC) and Know-your-business (KYB) checks.

Responsibilities

• To address customer requirements in finance areas for cross industries.
• Provide remote/onsite SAP consulting services to key SAP customers on innovation products, mainly S/4HANA.
• Build competencies to deliver solutions to customers.
• Be able to understand complex business scenarios and propose SAP standard solutions or workarounds.
• Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects.
• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with internal and external clients.
• Gain expertise in S4HANA Financial area.
• Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address customer issues.
• Delivering billable components that meets a customer’s needs.
• Execution of innovation portfolio serving as primary contact from customer success service areas to deploy and implement solutions.
• Ensure standard solution usage whenever it´s possible. Be able to provide workarounds when SAP standard solutions do not fit to customer scenarios.
• Be able to evaluate affected processes and scenarios. Ensure proper validation of solution implemented by grating minimum test case scenarios execution.
• Get involved with customer scenarios, be able to understand business needs and discuss best approaches to help them.

Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 5-8 years FICO experience, with 1 project implementation experience.
• Experience with bank accounting, specializing in banking submodule topics relating to Payment Run, DMEE, MT940, Bank H2H connections, and etc.
• Support experience in SAP FI (with focus on, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Tax, and Integration with SD and MM).
• Experience with SAP CO (with focus on WBS, Project System, Product Costing, and COPA.
• Support experience in SAP FI (with focus on, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Tax, and Integration with SD and MM).
• Expertise in the configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting (FI).
• Knowledge on SAP FI: FI-AR (Account Receivable), FI-AP (Account Payables), GL and New GL(General Ledger), FI-AA (Asset Account); Month/year end closing activities.
• SAP product experience and/or at least 3 years prior relevant industry/solutions experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability and good will to pick up knowledge in new areas.
• Experience building and retaining customer relationships, Strong customer oriented attitude.
• Prefer SAP certified.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Knowledge on CO module.
• Knowledge on HANA database, knowledge on basic HANA tools (HANA studio) for navigation and scenarios identification.
