We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data analytics to optimize financial processes, enhance business performance, and support overall company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparation of budgets, forecast, and re-forecast.
- Track departmental actual and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.
Financial Modeling:
- Maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
- Update financial actuals in the financial model. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential financial outcomes.
Project & Product Costing:
- Develop and maintain accurate cost models for projects and products, including direct material, direct labor, indirect labor, and overhead costs.
- Track the actuals costs against the bill of material forecast. Analyse cost structures and provide recommendations for cost optimizations.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams from subsidiary entity to enhance yield performance.
Reporting:
- Prepare and monthly financial analyses related to financial statements and produce/project profitability. Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in preparation monthly and quarterly board meeting slides.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to measure business and departmental performance.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements in finance department.
- Work with cross-functional teams to introduce structured processes and automations, while ensuring data accuracy.
- Support team in SAP adoption and system implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and data interpretation for 2 years (minimum).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) is a must. Proficiency in ERP system such as SAP B1, is good to have.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
