Key Responsibilities

This position will report to the Managing Partner and will be responsible for spearheading and overseeing the Company’s financial operations and playing a critical role in managing the financial operations of our asset portfolio, overseeing financial performance and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and with reporting requirements. His or her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Financial Performance & Reporting:

• Oversee the financial operations of the real estate investments, including accounting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare on monthly, quarterly basis the management accounts (including trial balance, general ledger, profit and loss statement, financial position and cashflow statements, bank statement and reconciliations), financial statements, investor reports, and financial performance metrics.
• Prepare profit and loss reporting packages, financial accounts of Joint Venture companies and Property holding companies
• Monitor financial ratios in relation to meeting financial covenants and submission of accounts under loan facility agreement
• Monitor and analyze comparative statement of financial position including variance explanation against the prior quarter, and comparative statement of profit or loss including variance explanation against budget and against the prior quarter, provide relevant supporting schedule of statement of financial position and profit or loss items
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the fund/ joint ventures, including capital calls, cash projections, distributions, and fund accounting.
• Oversee capital contributions, distributions, and other financial transactions related to joint ventures.

Risk Management & Compliance:

• Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual internal fund audits and working closely with external auditors.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with fund management and real estate investments.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all fund operations adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Create comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal controls and finance-related processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all financial operations.
• Design and implement an internal control framework that addresses key financial processes, including risk assessment, control activities, monitoring, and reporting for managing financial aspects the Company and with its joint ventures
• Develop policies that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate financial risks, including guidelines for financial reporting and fraud prevention.
• Document all finance-related procedures and processes, including authorization processes, approval hierarchies, and transaction workflows, to provide clear guidance for the finance team and other relevant departments.

Transaction Management Support:

• Lead the financing process for new acquisitions, refinancing, interest rates hedging of asset portfolio (including negotiations with lenders, managing legal counsel and execution of documentation)
• Analyze different financing structures and their impact on asset returns and risk profiles.
• Assist to provide additional layer of review on financial and tax due diligence reports by external service providers
• Responsible for post transaction support such as entity setup, opening of bank accounts, liaising with corporate secretarial services to share allotment, appointment of directors, preparation of board resolutions
• Assess and determine the capital requirements for both new and existing joint ventures, ensuring adequate funding and effective cash flow management
• Partner with tax advisors to identify and assess relevant tax incentive schemes that align with the company’s business activities and strategic goals
• Oversee the submission of applications for tax incentive schemes, working closely with tax advisors to address any queries or additional requirements from tax authorities.
• Continuously monitor the company’s compliance with the conditions of granted tax incentives, and coordinate with tax advisors to ensure ongoing qualification and reporting.

Job Requirement

You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate or a related field, preferably a CPA or CFA with at least 8 to 10 years of experience with real estate fund management operations role, with background from Big 4 audit firms. You have a proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and fund operations and demonstrates the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Description:

This individual is responsible for executing substantive economic sanctions compliance and operational risk practices in any sanctions related matters requiring input, assisting Global Economic Sanctions (GES) executives. This individual will establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Front Line Units (FLUs) and Control Functions (CFs), GFC risk executives and managers and internal audit using effective influence skills; and engage in external regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities
• Advises and directs the development and maintenance of financial crimes owned policies and standards, and reviews relevant Front Line Units/Control Functions-owned policies and standards to ensure that regulatory requirements and operational risks are appropriately addressed specific to sanctions.

• Escalates sanctions related compliance and operational risks and issues to appropriate governance routines, management/board level committees.
• Identifies, aggregates, reports, escalates, inspects, and challenges the remediation and thematic analysis of FLU/CF-owned issues and control enhancements related to sanctions.
• Reviews and challenges internal and external operational loss events, including the development of remediation plans to strengthen controls and providing oversight to ensure they are addressed appropriately.
• Draft and maintain sanctions-related Risk Assessments in alignment with the GFC Enterprise Policy, Standard, and Risk Assessment Methodology.
• Input into sanctions related risk assessments and leverage available data and analytical tools during the planning, execution, and oversight of the risk assessment process as applicable.
• Support the drafting and execution of actions plans to prepare for any regulatory deliverables and exams.
• Support the drafting and respond to regulatory partners working with other GES colleagues on voluntary sanctions self-disclosures, subpoenas, and license requests.

Software Developer (DevOps)

Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer (DevOps), you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports our digital solutions. This position offers you the opportunity to deliver strategic partnerships and cutting-edge technology solutions, helping us achieve our vision of being a technology-driven investment firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable DevOps pipelines, tools, and frameworks.
• Work collaboratively with development, cloud, and security teams to integrate best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Establish and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Stay informed on the latest security trends and best practices, providing actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Analyze business needs and develop solutions to enhance operational capabilities.
• Conduct peer code reviews and offer technical mentorship to colleagues.
• Execute System Integration Tests and collaborate with business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create and maintain documentation and guides for new or improved systems.
• Automate self-service processes and templates for development teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps) are a plus.
• Over 8 years of experience in software development, DevOps, solution design, software testing, and production support.
• Proficient in C# or Python, with a strong emphasis on Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong knowledge of security and networking principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Proficient in using GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code reviews; experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation is preferred.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory for managing software package repositories.
• Knowledge of application security tools (e.g., SAST and OSS).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Plan and complete public relations initiatives, including public engagement events and briefings for key project stakeholders.
• Resolve public complaints, manage feedbacks, and address queries in a professional manner.
• Ensure document submissions are in accordance and complies with project document formats and requirements.
• Keep records and track location of control documents and drawings.
• Ensure that all versions of documents are the latest and maintained properly.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Public Relations or equivalent
• At least 4 years of public relations and document control experience in Construction industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with good communication and interpersonal skills.
