Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance for the SEA region. This role includes organizing the accounting department, ensuring compliance with internal controls, managing reporting to the Group and Regional Offices, and handling relationships with auditors and banks. The Financial Controller will also manage tax filings, support financial planning and analysis, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights for business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Oversight:
   • Lead and manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for logistics operations.
   • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis, with a focus on logistics cost management.

4. Logistics Finance Analytics:
   • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of logistics processes, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
   • Implement financial models to support decision-making and provide insights into the profitability of logistics operations.
5. Compliance & Risk Management:
   • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, company policies, and logistics contracts.
   • Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and safeguard assets within the logistics.
   • Conduct regular audits of logistics operations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
6. Reporting & KPIs:
   • Develop and track key financial and operational performance metrics (KPIs) related to logistics activities.
   • Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into logistics performance and financial impact.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations and sales, to streamline financial processes within the logistics.

8. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial control and reporting accuracy across the logistics.

Key responsibilities:

• Overall control of all financial, tax and audit matters which includes but not limited to:

1. Month end close and monthly management reporting
2. Monthly cash flow analysis and forecasting for all entities within the group
3. Tax computation, analysis and forecasting, liaise with tax advisors on tax payable, thin capitalisation and transfer pricing matters for the group
4. Bank debt reporting and adherence to loan covenants
5. Ensure fixed asset registers (both tax and accounting) are updated and current
6. Responsibility for the annual audit process and overall project management delivery for preparation of the statutory accounts
   Overall cash management – including capital expenditure and projects

• Lead and manage the budgeting process
• Treasury matters including bank financing, hedging transactions

• Review of the performance, cashflows and balance sheet of the underlying property assets

Key requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position preferably with a property, hospitality or investment industry background handling month end close, management reporting, cash flow analysis, tax and statutory filing requirements for a comparable organisation in size, scale and complexity; and covering Australia and New Zealand operations
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, high degree of emotional intelligence and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels

Prepare for regional monthly details performance analysis, developed from financial management report.
