Responsibilities:

• Managing timely financial closing and support various internal/external management and JV partner reporting requirements.
• Partner with Shared Service Center to complete financial reporting deliverables.
• Work on various corporate tax, group tax and goods & services tax compliance.
• Ensure internal controls and governance framework are embedded into daily operations.
• Up hold and drive processes to ensure compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements, US GAAP, IFRS and Companies Act.
• Partner with the business to lead site business review with senior management,
• Active involvement with stakeholders in annual budgeting, cost management, and productivity improvement activities.

Requirements:

• Degree educated with optional professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA/CIMA).

• Experience with dealing with cross functional and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and be accountable for the timely and accurate calculation, verification, reporting of daily, and month-end reporting. This would be performed in conjunction with an offshore team located in Powai, Mumbai, requiring the individual to manage the offshore team relationships and deliverables

To succeed in this VP, Product Controller job, you will need to have prior experience within the banking industry and product knowledge within illiquid and alternative investment products.
