•  Set up strategy for probable gorwth and execute to make S.E.A team to become the market leader
•  Underwrite S.E.A Financial Lines risk
•  Manage all Financial Lines risk referrals from S.E.A underwriters
•  Work with countries underwriters for all type of underwriting supports including, but not limited to risk analysis, supporting to prepare for referrals, seizing all market opportunities, doing regular training for skill enhancement
•  Bring strong relationships with key FL producers, understanding their unique needs and providing appropriate guidance and solutions and expand distribution channel
•  Engage with key local clients, growing long-term risk management partnerships
•  Represent Chubb at key industry events, showcasing our knowledge and capabilities in India or Singapore
•  Support regional Financial Lines team

Requirements

•  7-10 years experience mandate in Financial Lines underwriting
•  Excellent level of knowledge and understanding for all Financial Lines product including D&O, PI, Crime, Medmal and FI
•  S.E.A Financial Lines market experience is preferred
•  Proven track record of business development and excellence on achieving profitable revenue growth
•  Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with country underwriters, head office, distribution partners such as brokers, agents, and intermediaries. Track record of effectively managing key accounts, negotiating terms and conditions, and delivering exceptional service to clients
•  Risk Assessment Skills: Strong analytical and critical and logical thinking skills to assess risks accurately, identify potential exposures, and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Strong rationale and creativeness to develop new products and coverages by local market needs . Experience in conducting thorough risk inspections and effectively communicating risk-related information to stakeholders
•  Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective
• interaction with internal teams, external partners, and clients. Especially interaction with local team is critical.
• Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with colleagues in product development, claims, and other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions and support to clients

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively investigate, negotiate and resolve claims regardless of its complexity.
• Provide technical expertise to the Financial Line claims team in Asia.
• Ensure claims are handled within authority limits and in adherence with internal guideline.
• Understanding of relevant legal processes and procedures and litigation management.
• To manage brokers, clients and relevant stakeholders
• To negotiate and deal with contentious situations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder
• Legal background is an advantage
• Direct experience in handling different classes of Financial Lines/Casualty claims
• 5-7 years related working experience
• Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes
• Experience in handling legal cases
• Able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Assist in Debts Collection & follow up of overdue account
• Prepare regular & monthly credit related reports to Finance manager/ HOD
• Assist in monitoring monthly debts collection performance
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices
• Conduct aged balance review with Finance manager/ HOD to follow up review action
• To adopt collection best practices and apply relevant collections strategies to enhance effectiveness
• Recommend improvements of credit risk measures, controls and processes
