Financial System

• Design and establish the companys financial management system (chart of accounts, funding, taxation).
• Promote deep integration of finance and business, providing support for company decision-making through data analysis and financial reporting.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Financial Analysis

Internal Controls

Cash Management

• Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funding for operational needs and strategic investments.
• Monitor banking activities, including reconciliations, deposits, and withdrawals.
• Optimize cash management processes.

Requirements:

• Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Possession of CPA, ACCA, or equivalent international accounting qualification;
• Familiarity with Singapore accounting standards or IFRS.
• Over 5 years of financial work experience (Big 4 accounting firm will be a plus)
• Experience in Singapore finance sector is preferred

Responsibilities:

A Financial Counsellor is required to report to both Finance department and Operations department. Responsible for the counseling of patients on the use of CPF (Central Provident Fund) Medisave accounts, explain chronic care management packages available at our polyclinics, process case documents and work with polyclinic staff to provide a wonderful visit experience for patients. A Financial Counsellor is expected to perform all of the following areas of financial counseling functions:

• Counsel and explain to patients the principle and ruling of MediCare Assistance scheme.
• Assess patients' financial status and eligibility.
• Assess and perform medical bills waiver for eligible patients.
• Counsel patients on managing their medical bills settlement during assessment.
• Attend to patients' enquiries and assist in the application for medical subsidy & financial assistance schemes.
• Ensure the completeness of application submitted.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of Medisave Authorization Form (MAF).
• Perform reconciliation of MAF (Medisave Application Form) against Medisave sign-up in the system on daily basis.
• Conduct peer's audit check on MediCare Assistance.
• Perform checks on documents submitted to Finance department for patient refund voucher, waiver, etc.
• Operate as Business Office for clinic by acting as the main contact for Finance department on finance-related matters.
• Provide support to clinic staff as & when requested.
