Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the System Application Engineer is to provide technical support to Q-SYS’s Systems Direct Dealers, Systems Integrators and Distributors in the Southeast Asia territory, and if necessary, support other markets across APAC. Occasional business travel within the region may be needed.

The position will provide systems technical support services and training to our channel partners, consultants, and prospective users within the AV integration community.

Essential Functions/Core Duties

1. Post-Sales hardware and software issue resolution
2. Pre-Sales system design and specification

This position requires broad and comprehensive experience in Audio, Video and Control (AVC) Systems Integration over a wide range of market segments including Corporate AV applications, including networking, telephony, video conferencing and control implementation, Entertainment Venues, Transportation and Higher Education projects.

The candidate must be able to:

• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the organization’s products, policies and practices.
• Diagnose complex integrated system issues and provide solutions and advice.
• Manage sensitive information, both commercial and technical, discreetly and confidentially.
• Work professionally at all levels of employees and interface well with external professionals, end users, consultants, distributors, dealers and systems integrators.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation and teamwork skills.

Core Duties and Responsibilities - Training and Seminars

The candidate must be able to:

• Present and deliver various Q-SYS technical training courses.
• Present and deliver Q-SYS product and solution seminars.
• Comfortable presenting to a small to medium size audience

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education to degree level or qualification in industry relevant field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the professional AV industry or associated industries
• Experience as a AVC Systems Engineer, Contractor and/or Consultant are highly desirable.
• Experience with third party control integration (Crestron, AMX, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Experience with LUA scripting or similar is highly desirable.
• Experience in Cinema installations is a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering a clear and consistent market message for a solution-based product portfolio.
• Proven track record of working independently.
• Must be fluent in English. Other Asian languages are desirable.
• Audio Visual industry certifications in CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D are a strong plus.
• IT industry networking certifications such as CCNA or CCDA, Q-SYS Level 2 and Quantum are highly desirable.
• A working knowledge of EASE 4.0 is desirable.

• Perform system performance test and evaluation and customer qualification focusing on vision inspection system.
• Evaluating and establishing vision system performance specifications.

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering discipline
• At least 1 year of field servicing experience in semiconductor industry
• PC hardware, OS and networking knowledge

Position Summary:

As an Automation Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in both the key QE specific work you're doing throughout a project's lifecycle as well as contribute towards the automation solutions to support accelerated test execution. You will be required to provide analysis, design, execution, maintenance and / or support of testing solutions that are appropriate to the application, solution and project as assigned. You will report to, and take direction from, the QE Manager/Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Create test cases and traceability matrices based on business requirements documents and system design documents
• Contribute to and maintain team’s automation tool set
• Take an active role in all testing phases, receiving direction from the QE Lead/QE Manager and offering advice to the QE Lead/QE Manager, when needed
• Contribute to team’s internal knowledge base
• Work with JIRA for automation deliverables, test case management, defect management, test reporting, and other functions
• Participate in defect triage
• Report testing progress and defect metrics to the QE Lead/QE Manager
• Review and provide feedback on high-level automation requirements, business requirements, and testing documents

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Software Engineering 2 to 5 years of prior experience as a QE Test Analyst
• Experience in Banking Domain is advantageous
• Proven ability to learn new technical and domain knowledge quickly
• Good analytical skills and attention to details
• Demonstrate passion for team and self-improvement
• Outgoing and self-motivated
• Experience/knowledge in the following:
• Behavior Driven Development, ATDD approach
• Test automation using JAVA
• Moven, Selenium Web driver, Appium and UFT/QTP is preferred
• Testing Microservices using RestAssured, SOATest is preferred
• Using source code control systems GIT / Subversion
• Implementing continuous integration. Experience with Jenkins or TeamCity preferred
• Experience in working with JIRA and an Agile environment
• Knowledge of QE methodologies and best practices
