Job Description
Microsoft 365 Administration:
Assist in the management and configuration of Microsoft 365 services including user provisioning and licensing.
Security Policy Implementation:
Review, implement and maintain Microsoft 365 security policies and services.
Cybersecurity Management:
- Ensure compliance with Cybersecurity certifications for the organization.
- Manage data protection and cybersecurity functions, ensuring systems are properly set up and maintained to safeguard against threats.
- Conduct cyber risk assessment in support of technology initiatives to help identify IT related risk and determine appropriate controls to mitigate risks.
- Monitor, track, and manage risk mitigations and exceptions and ensure adequate monitoring capability is incorporated into solutions.
System Setup & Maintenance:
Oversee the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of computer hardware, networks, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Technical Support:
Provide IT technical support for end-users, addressing issues related to hardware, software, network, and cloud services.
Vendor Liaison:
Be the point of contact between users and IT vendors to facilitate the delivery of IT solutions and services.
IT Asset Documentation:
Assist in the procurement and thorough documentation of IT assets following SOPs for onboarding, issuance, deployment, repair and disposal.
Additional Duties:
Undertake other tasks as assigned by Management to support organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Educational Background:
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Technical Expertise:
Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Windows environment, including configuring and troubleshooting.
Microsoft 365 Knowledge:
Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft 365 services and implementing security measures.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to diagnose and resolve a range of IT issues with effective troubleshooting.
Communication Skills:
Competence in liaising with both users and vendors of all levels, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Security-Focused:
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience in implementing security policies and procedures.
Desired qualifications:
- Professional Certifications in Microsoft 365 services and / or Cybersecurity
- At least 1 year experience communicating and servicing end users of all levels
- Experience using mobile device management software to manage both Windows and MacOS devices as well as mobile phones and tablets
- Familiarity with setting up and configuring servers and other network devices advantageous
