Job Description
1. Manage and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructures
2. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
3. Proactively ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
4. Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
5. Maintain security, backup, redundancy and BCP strategies
6. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
7. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
8. Manage VMwareenvironment
9. Provide enterprise-wide support at a high level for Microsoft Azure & Red Hat Linux
10. Support HPE and Hitachi environments
11. Provide support in a 24/7 environment and would require working at least 1 week every month for on-call support
Skill Requirement:
1. Diploma / bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
2. IT System Management experience of various aspects
3. Possess initiative, positive attitude and strong passion in operation support
4. Good communication skills and able to work independently
5. Able to start work immediately or within short notice is an advantage
6. Knowledge of the following technologies:
· VMware vCenter: ESXi, SRM, VRM
· Security operation and technologies such Privileged Access Management, Endpoint Protection Platform, Firewall
· System Monitoring
· Backup and Recovery
· Windows Server OS with good understanding of Windows AD, DNS, GPO and Failover Clustering
· SAN storage with good understanding of remote site application (Knowledge Of administrating Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform would be an added advantage)
