Job Description

As a Workshop Engineer, the main role will be conducted within an office-based position at Fugro in Singapore office. He will serve as the primary support contact for the mechanical aspects of all mobile / fixed drilling equipment. He will play a pivotal role in the planning and budgeting for preventive maintenance and upgrades which will include liaising between many internal and external departments. He would have a minimum 8 years of hands-on experience on servicing hydraulic and mechanical equipment used in Marine & Offshore industry, of which minimum 3 years of experience is working on hydraulic equipment used on offshore facilities such as MODU’s, Rigs. 1. Primary Responsibilities

• Quality Planning & Documentation: Develop, implement, and maintain a project-specific Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plan that aligns with BCA CONQUAS standards, ensuring all quality processes meet assessment criteria.

• Coordination with Site Engineers & Supervisors: Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications as needed.
• Client & Consultant Interaction: Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.

3. Reporting & Documentation

• Quality & CONQUAS Reports: Prepare quality and assessment reports, including checklists and summaries that reflect compliance with CONQUAS scoring standards, inspection records, and non-conformance resolutions.
• Record Management: Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, including BCA CONQUAS documentation, material certificates, inspection logs, and testing results.

4. Technical Skills and Knowledge

• CONQUAS Standards & Guidelines: In-depth knowledge of BCA’s CONQUAS standards, especially in structural, architectural, and M&E works criteria, assessment scoring, and inspection guidelines.
• Inspection Techniques & Tools: Proficiency in inspection techniques and tools that align with CONQUAS criteria, including non-destructive testing (NDT) and visual inspection practices.

5. Training & Development

6. Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the construction industry, with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications a significant advantage

The Production Engineer, as Process Owners (Production Process) are responsible for the development, description, implementation, training, and monitoring of processes assigned to them.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyzing processes assigned, define the processes’ interfaces and boundaries, and determine the requirements for a specification-compliant process result through perform and document process validations or re-validations including IQ, OQ and PQ.
• Develop the process steps together with the interested parties:
• Define content of routings/workflows.
• Create the content for their description (FPV).

During product transfer:
