Duties to Perform:

The senior Gas Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk gas and special gas systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Team Lead to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance of plant and equipment to achieve high reliability and availability. You will lead a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate maintenance programs, and optimize planned maintenance activities. Additionally, you will troubleshoot faults, perform failure analysis, and implement plant improvement projects to enhance overall plant performance.

Below are some of the key responsibilities for the role;

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals to ensure effective maintenance of plant and equipment
• Coordinate and optimize planned maintenance activities, including scheduled plant inspections and maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements
• Troubleshoot faults, perform failure analysis, and recommend corrective actions

• Self-motivated team player with analytical mind, strong planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and lead day-to-day activities

Job Description

• Online and Offline Partial Discharge Measurements for HV electrical assets such as cables , transformers, switchgears , motors and generators
• Offline Cable testings (Hi-pot test, Megger test, Tangent Delta test) above 6.6kV rated Cables
• Infra-Red Thermography for HV and LV Switchboards
• Lightning protection and earthing system measurement.
• Assist to servicing maintenance work by project teams.
• Handling of multiple test equipment from Omicron, Doble Engineering,Qualitrol, IRIS Power, EA Technology, HVPD, PDS, B2 and IPEC

• Identifies and resolve structure interference and propose modification onsite if necessary.
