Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Simulation Engineer specializing in electrochemical modeling to join our innovative Battery Material Research Division. This role is crucial in advancing simulation technologies to evaluate and optimize battery performance, safety, and longevity. It emphasizes a hands-on approach to laboratory experiments and leveraging simulation tools to develop cutting-edge lithium-ion and solid-state battery technologies.

Job Scope: Senior Simulation Engineer - Electrochemical Modeling

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research into battery working principles and failure mechanisms, developing multiscale and multiphysics-based battery models for rapid performance evaluation and diagnosis.
• Establish and refine electrochemical models, perform parameter determination, and execute numerical calculations and result analyses.
• Explore and implement simulation technologies to assess battery electrical performance, thermal runaway safety, and life prediction, providing actionable insights for the team.
• Utilize simulation outcomes to optimize existing product designs and propose innovative product design strategies.
• Design and execute experiments to generate data for training, validating, and testing battery models.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or relevant Engineering disciplines.
• Strong foundation in lithium-ion cell electrochemistry and mechanisms.
• Hands-on expertise with battery testing equipment, protocols, and physical-chemical evaluation techniques.
• Proficiency in electrochemical simulation and algorithm development software, such as COMSOL, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent tools.
• Practical experience in experimental battery research, including DOE design and analysis. Capability in electrochemical testing and analysis of battery materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset, with effective communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  

• Analyse network traffic patterns across identified routes.
• Collect specific measurements across identified routes for analysis.
• Conduct a network infrastructure analysis.
• Conduct threat assessment matrix on network.
• Configure Authentication, Authorisation and Accounting (AAA) services to support remote access protocols based on security requirements.
• Configure a network addressing system.
• Configure hosts and workstations to use IP addresses either manually or through automatic allocation of addresses.
• Configure network devices to provide secure failover and redundancy.
• Debug networking issues to maintain wireless connection.
• Escalate network performance issues to relevant personnel.
• Evaluate user requirements and recommend network protocol services.
• Identify the network components that are required to be installed.
• Install and configure access point to provide wireless access to network.
• Install and configure the components.
• Install firewall appliance for attack guards and intrusion detection.
• Monitor wireless network performance using diagnostic tools.
• Operate network monitoring tools to monitor network performance against thresholds and Quality of Service (QoS).
• Plan control methods for the network for user access management.
• Review network traffic problems with relevant parties for resolution.
• Test the overall network to verify that it meets the agreed requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or University Degree holder
• Cisco Certificate
• Knowledge in routing, switching, SD-WAN, and vendor technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.)
• Knowledge of Server Architecture such as SANs, Citrix, AD;
• Knowledge in Microsoft server applications, Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service
• Any relevant professional qualifications are considered an advantage

Role: Desktop Engineer - End User Computing (EUC)

Work Location: Woodlands & Yishun

Job Description:

Shall provide daily on-site DESKTOP management and support services (“DESKTOP Support Services”) for end-users’ End UserComputing Devices (DESKTOP) which are used in the Customer’s environment with the Customer’s approval. The general scope of Desktop Support Services shall minimally include:

(a) Image build management;

(b) Administration and configuration;

(c) End-user account management;

(d) End-user device hardening and lockdown;

(e) Trouble-shooting and problem resolution; and

(f) End-user briefings & awareness service.

Shall minimally support the following types of DESKTOP:

(a) Desktops;

(b) Notebooks;

(c) Mobile Devices (e.g. iPad, iPhone or equivalent);

(d) Video Conferencing Devices;

(e) IP Telephones;

(f) Printers, including multi-function devices (i.e. printers, scanners and fax devices); and

(g) Other peripherals (e.g. external hard drives, mouse, smart-card readers, monitors, docking stations).

Shall minimally support the following operating systems:

· Windows 7 and later versions of Windows;

· Apple iOS 9.x or later versions; and

· Android OS 5.x or later versions.

Minimum Requirement:

The Level 1 Desktop Support Engineer meet the following requirements:

(a) Minimum one (1) year of DESKTOP Support, ICT End User Computing or Service Desk Agent experience;

(b) Ability to perform the daily DESKTOP Support operations with minimum supervision;

(c) Possess technical skills in supporting existing and new computing devices such as desktops, notebooks and mobile devices;

(d) Possess knowledge in IT networking and LAN to troubleshoot computer problems; and

(e) Possess at least one (1) of the following certifications:

· Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) Win7/Win8 or equivalent;

· (ii) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in any discipline or equivalent; or

· (iii) CompTIA A+ 220-801/ 220-802, CompTIA PDI+ or equivalent.

A quantity surveyor may work for either the client, the contractor or sub-con, working in an office or on site. They are involved in a project from the start, preparing estimates and costs of the work.

When the project is in progress, quantity surveyors keep track of any variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.

Aside from Quantity Surveyor, he or she will also act as project engineer wherein will take charge of the suprvising the project, adhere to construction procedures, coordinate all work schedule with the main con and liase with project manager and archi coordinator.

He or She should monitor and ensure that the work progress is within project schedules and manage the project independently as well as lead and motivate team.

Estimation of quantities, preparing BOQ, BBS as per drawing.

• Coordinating with Design & Construction team.

• Review engineering drawing and specifications and ensure the correctness of transfer of drawing details to ground, Checking all centering and reinforcement works.

• Physical measurement of quantities and tracking the productivity.

• Ensuring timely resource availability.

• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and alteration done by customer in project work.

• Evaluating completed work and arranging payments

• Ensure quality of structure, works as per drawing and specifications & ensure no rework

• Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
