As a Partner Engineer Specialist, you will work with Partner Development Managers and Partner Engineers to grow and support the Google Cloud Database partner ecosystem. You will understand the technical solutions and capabilities of our partners and are in the best position to recommend the right partner to our customers. You will lead the database efforts to enable partners with technical knowledge in database technologies and solutions.

In this role, you will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google Cloud database services can help customers innovate, bring their services to market faster, differentiate against the competition, and create new business growth streams. • Work with partners to identify and qualify customer business opportunities for Oracle/DB2 migrations and new Google native databases. Understand key customer business and technical issues, and develop strategies and solutions to support their implementations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in a partner-facing role, in an enterprise business and database administration role, delivering technical presentations and live demonstrations to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience designing and migration of workloads to cloud environments, including enterprise wide Oracle/DB2 to PostgreSQL, MYSQL, NOSQL databases.

• Working Location: Depending on allocated project
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $3000 + $500 Transportation Allowance + OT + Standby Allowance + VB

Key Responsibilities

• To install, service, support, upgrade and maintain equipment.
• Perform a variety of moderate to complex assignments, such as diagnosing equipment problems and making repairs or adjustments.
• To understand system parameters and interactions to allow process development and extension electronic-mechanical troubleshooting on the equipment.
• To support the team in meeting customers’ expectations and company’s expectations.
• To provide direct support on machines at customers’ fab.
• To write technical report.
• To handle specific jigs during service jobs.
• Assist senior colleagues in performing higher-level jobs such as robot teaching & sub-units.
• To perform ad-hoc delivery work.

• Minimum NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Microelectronics Engineering, or related
• Cleanroom working experience will be highly advantageous.
• Experience in machine set-up/installation/modification/servicing/troubleshooting/repair.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Comfortable with standing by/working after working hours.
• Comfortable with travelling occasionally.
• Inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
