Acting as Network and Security Subject matter expert is a professional who takes care of communication networks, such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and intranets. They play a crucial role in creating, maintaining and modifying an IP network’s hardware, software and virtualized components.

Role and Responsibility:

• Leads the network design process, manages existing networks, monitor the traffic, manages the installation of routers, modems, and any other hardware and software upgrading
• Coordinates with the software and hardware teams to get the necessary network equipment in place
• Collaborates with the network engineers, network administrators and other professionals in network setup and configuration
• Assess the existing network technologies to increase the performance, security & efficienc
• Leads the installation of routers, and any other hardware and software upgrading that are essential for the communication networks to function properly.
• Provide technical guidance on networking solutions, product plans and roadmaps.
• Develop and deliver the professional proposals and design documentation
• Manage the information security within the network structure through passwords or user permissions.

Requirements:

• good communication skills
• understanding of problem-solving techniques
• extensive knowledge of computer operations, security and wireless systems will be an add-on
• knowlegde networking components such as routers, modems, adaptors, switches, and servers, forewal.
• Understand all aspects of project management such as team-building, staff training and scheduling.
• Good technical troubleshooting knowledge of data network,
• Fluent in Technical English speaking and writing skills.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, deploy and maintain network infrastructure and solutions for clients in various industries.

• Design and implement secure networking solutions;
• Install, configure, and manage network devices;
• Troubleshoot escalated network issues and work towards effective resolution;
• Maintain detailed technical documentation for all network-related configurations and procedures;
• Monitor and enhance network performance, ensuring high levels of availability and stability;
• Drive improvements in scalability, capacity, security, and overall system efficiency;
• Support project deployment, ensuring successful implementation of network solutions.

Requirements

• Tertiary education in information technology or any relevant discipline;
• Certification in networking technologies would be an advantage;
• At least 3 years of experience in network infrastructure, ideally within a systems integration environment;
• Strong knowledge of wired and wireless network deployment and related technologies;
• Familiarity with routing and switching protocols and practices;
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Employment Details

• This is a 1-year renewable contract, convertible to permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Create solutions to complex technical problems in life science, Power, water treatment, chemical and petro-chemical, shipyard and oil and gas plants.
• Do field/ bench Calibration of measuring instruments like Pressure, Temperature, Flow, radar level, analyzer, wireless and collect data
• Calculate calibration range, mA, Freq, required output and accuracy before doing calibration and record the result during calibration
• Analyze and compile technical and statistical information and prepare report
• Maintain accurate engineering documents

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree equivalent in Electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the same field
• Valid Singapore driving License is preferred
• Knowledge relating to Mechanical and Measuring Instruments
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication skill in English
• Technical report writing and able to read the schematic diagrams
• Willing to work at island wide customer sites

Who you are

Minimum requirements
• 2-8 years of professional software development experience
• Either a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field involving coding (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics) or equivalent technical experience
• Worked on projects which have involved multiple engineering teams
• Empathy, strong communication skills and a deep respect for the power of collaboration
• A learning mindset, regardless of level or experience
• The ability to drive clear next steps when encountering ambiguous spaces without clear lines of ownership
• High standards for code quality and a constructive attitude to help others raise the bar
• An ability to think creatively and holistically about reducing risk in a complex environment

Preferred qualifications
• Have experience with financial product companies and interest in financial products and markets.
