• Knowledge of electrical power systems, international codes & standards and Industry accepted electrical engineering software’s.
• Prepare electrical job specifications and datasheets as per customer / tender requirements.
• Execution of assigned site work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, IEC codes and standards.
• Perform activities such as – prepare quotations and technical bid evaluations as per relevant technical requirements.
• Review vendor drawings and documentation as per relevant Technical Practices.
• Manage sub-con to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Follow the ethics of confidentiality on technologies licensed by Client or Third Party.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 years' relevant experience in handling both HV and LV, preferably in Construction environment
• Prior experience in project and maintenance in the Transformers, switchgears and LV switch boards, DC Traction systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read engineering drawings
• Team player with strong leadership, interpersonal, planning and organizing skills
• Self-motivated and resourceful individual
• Class -3 driving licence is preferable

Responsibilities:

• Consults with supervisor, systems analysts, other programmers, and end users to gather information about program intent, functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, hardware and operating system environment, and interfaces with other systems.

• Analyses code to find causes of errors and revise programs.
• Writes and maintains documentation of changes to computer code, programs, and specifications.
• Designs and codes layouts for onscreen user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
• Engages in user review and technical documentation written by others to confirm consistency with program operations.
• Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs.
• Revises programs for corrections, enhancements, or system environment changes.
• Trains end users or technical support staff to use and support programs.

• Responsible for construction planning and scheduling of materials, manpower, plants and equipments ;

• Carry out Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) design for construction projects.
• Manage the procurement, costing and delivery of electrical software and hardware required
• Make PLC programming according to clients’ technical specifications
• Liaise with contractors for control panel, electrical equipment and components delviery
• Organize and lead testing and commissioning at site
• Attend to EICA breakdowns with diagnosis and solutions
• Attend meetings with subcontractors and clients for technical clarifications and arrangements.
• Keep records of EICA design, drawings, and document systematically
• Provide support and assistance to Sales Department and Maintenance Team
• Other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Proficient with PLCs, like Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, ABB & Omron
• Well-versed with SCADA and HMI
