Scope of job:

1. Installation and Commissioning:

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and machinery as per technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Assist in the commissioning of electrical systems and ensure they are operating correctly.
• Ensure all installations are in compliance with the relevant codes and standards.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure efficient functioning.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot electrical problems, and repair or replace faulty components.
• Provide preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and optimize system performance.

3. Customer Support:

• Offer on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Respond to customer queries and resolve electrical issues promptly.
• Provide training and guidance to customers on proper use and maintenance of electrical systems.

4. System Upgrades:

• Assess and recommend upgrades to existing electrical systems and equipment.

5. Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols, electrical codes, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments on electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific electrical standards.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on findings, repairs, and service schedules.
• Maintain an inventory of electrical components and tools.
• Monitor progress on the works carried out and coordinate with customer and shipyard on site during Repair and Commissioning Job.
• Prepare timesheets and service report upon completion of all works and ensure all document is properly endorsed/verified by customer and uploaded to serve on time.

7. Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and clients to understand service requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for spare parts and service tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

8. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest electrical technologies, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Attend training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Contribute ideas for improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Education:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Certification in electrical systems or maintenance (e.g., NEC, NFPA) is a plus.

· Experience:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Service Engineer or similar role (typically 5 years above).
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, wiring, motors, circuit boards, and related components.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and electrical schematics.

· Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Proficient in using electrical diagnostic tools, multimeters, and testing devices.
• Understanding of electrical safety regulations and standards.

A. Overall Purpose Of The Job

As a member of the Service Desk team, this position serves as a single point of contact for all IT issues and requests reported by users through the different support channels (phone, email, Self-Service Portal, Tech Concierge Desk). It is responsible for providing support (remotely or onsite) on company supported computer software, applications, and platforms.

B. Key Responsibilities

The scope of responsibilities includes the following:

• Serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues via different support channels (phone, email, Self-Service Portal, Tech Concierge Desk).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. ● Log incidents and requests accurately in the service management tool, categorizing and prioritizing them based on urgency and documenting with event timeline.
• Escalate unresolved issues to relevant next level support team (L2/L3)
• Ensure effective management of all incident priorities including Major Incidents, Priority 1,2,3 and 4 and service requests through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions at the concierge desk .
• Act as an Incident Manager and drive end-to-end Major Incident and Priority 1 incident management process
• Monitor ticket, email, chat, phone queues and agent performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards
• Handle user account lifecycle management (Joiner, Mover & Leaver), access provisioning in accordance with company IT security policies.
• Perform regular out of office hours on call duties as per operational needs
• Oversee DSAT feedbacks and take corrective action
• Handle account provisioning across various system platforms (Active Directory, GSuite email account, Windows, Linux etc) for staff and generic accounts such as service accounts, admin account or FTP.
• Oversee daily cessation activities and evaluate any potential issues to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Provide reports upon stakeholder requests to list the active users or users associated with a specific application.
• Manage and process IT service requests, assist in projects including user profiling setup, software installation, and system configuration

● Assist in DWS (Digital Workplace Services) BAU tasks and projects such as but not limited to the following:

• OS imaging, deployment, upgrade, and tracking (Windows and Mac)
• Endpoint device management
• Hardware refresh
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge base articles for common issues, troubleshooting steps, and SOPs used by the Service Desk team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Engineering, Architects, etc.), and business stakeholders and ensure proper escalation to improve service delivery and user experience.
• Communicate effectively with end-users, keeping them informed of the status of incidents and requests.
• Monitor alerts triggered from servers, databases, or systems and inform the respective teams for necessary actions.

C. Job Profile

• Required Qualifications
• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Proven work experience in an IT support function such as a Service Desk Agent, Desktop Support Engineer, or other similar roles
• Working knowledge and experience on ITSM ticketing tools (ServiceNow, etc.) • Working knowledge and experience on computer hardware, OS, software, and applications both in Windows and Mac environments.
• Comfortable in supporting users over the phone, onsite, or remotely using remote access tools such as Teamviewer
• Possess an ITIL v3 and above Foundation certification is an advantage
• Knowledge of user access management processes and tools such as Sailpoint or OKTA is a plus.

ARC Tier 1 is required to work in a secure ARC environment. ARC is a type of call center that specializes

in providing technical support or customer service for complex products or services. An ARC typically

employs highly trained and specialized agents who are knowledgeable about the product or service being

supported. They may also use advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, chatbots, and

automation to assist with customer inquiries and support.

In addition to providing technical support, an ARC may also be responsible for proactive monitoring and

management of the product or service being supported, identifying, and resolving issues before they

become problems for customers. This can help to improve overall customer satisfaction and reduce

downtime for critical systems or services.

Overall, an Advanced Response Center plays a critical role in ensuring that customers receive high-quality

technical support and service for complex products and services.

ARC Tier 1 is responsible for provide first level technical support to customers. ARC Tier 1 will work

closely with ARC Tier 2, Team Leads & Technical Support Engineers to achieve this purpose. ARC Tier

1 is the first line of technical support. This team is responsible for basic customer

issues/enquiries/request/alert. It is the same as 1st Level support which provide basic technical or non-

technical support functions.

ACR Tier 1 functions and responsibilities (not limited)

12 hours shift mandataory

 Respond to the incoming enquiries/incident/request/alerts (Call, Email, Webchat, EUP, IVR

handling, Monitoring consoles)

o 1st level troubleshooting of in supported systems

i.e. Workplace; Server; Network; Microsoft 365; Secure Access Service Edge; Point of Sale

o Security event monitoring

o Server and network availability and performance monitoring

o Password reset and unlock

o Perform log & route [to higher tier or Resolver Team(s)]

 Record and manage all transactions/ cases in Service Management System

 Broadcast notifications to the relevant parties

 Provide timely status update, follow up on cases escalated until closure within the service level

agreement.
