Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing the strategic wealth management alliance with external organization.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to the alliance.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and external organization to execute joint initiatives
• Assist RMs in all aspects of client service and administrative support.
• Provide leverage to senior bankers to help grow AUM and Revenue
• Respond to all client queries and capable of resolving most issues and requests.
• Take and execute client orders, including but not limited to money market, securities and FX transactions.
• Monitor daily cash management activities.
• Prepare and handle of account opening documents and compliance with AML requirements.
• Prepare credit excess reports.
• Ensure client's records / accounts / investments / market information are current and information updates are timely maintained with relevant accompanying correspondences and meeting reports.
• Ensure necessary follow-up actions are promptly taken on various operational matters e.g. deficiency and outstanding documentation.
• Prepare relevant files and account reports for portfolio manager / banker prior to meeting with clients.
• Participate and contribute at PBA meetings to enhance sharing and feedback among teams.
• Provide back-up for other team members when required.
• Ensure fit-and-proper requirements are met (e.g. CPD requirements, complete mandatory training etc.) as stipulated by the regulators.
• Liaise with head office for any administrative issues.
Profile
• University degree or equivalent, preferably in Accountancy or Finance.
• Relevant work experience in client servicing roles within Private Banking business.
• Fluent in both English and Thai to collaborate with Thai stakeholders based in external organisations.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services.
• Good knowledge of Avaloq is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and client interfacing skills.
• Experience with managing internal and external clients with demonstrated leadership skills
• Familiar with AML and compliance requirements within the Private Banking space.
• CACS Papers 1 and 2 (pre-requisites), CMFAS M1B or M3, and M5 would be advantageous.
The candidate should be resourceful, motivated, and personally accountable in delivering high levels of performance in their role. The ability to manage challenges in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment would be advantageous. The individual should be approachable and willing to share and exchange ideas with colleagues whilst demonstrating the ability to work in a team.
