Responsibilities
1. Check repaired / overhauled history of components and determine the workscope to perform.
2. Update and maintain database of all the additional requirements from customers to be performed on specific components. Inform workshop to perform these additional requirements for the specific components.
3. Track and update the status of all sub-components that are sent to outhouse vendors. Follow up with outhouse vendors on any queries related to these sub-components.
4. Monitor the availability of all spares that are indicated in Bill of Materials for all workshops.
5. Work closely with SIA and SIAEC Materials Requirement Planning Teams to provision sufficient spares to support operations.
6. Provide regular reports on the performance of outhouse vendors and inhouse workshop.
7. Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1. Polytechnic Diploma in engineering or relevant quantitative disciplines
2. 1 - 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in Operations. Those without relevant experience are welcome to apply.
3. Strong skillsets in Operational Planning & Control
4. Open mindedness to approach problems from various angles
5. Good interpersonal communication skills
6. Strong analytical and reporting skills
7. Good computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and SAP would be an advantage.
