Our lab is focused on leveraging new technologies to better study microbial populations and their impact on human health. We have extensive experience in metagenomic analysis in clinically or commercially important contexts such as uncovering distinct microbial communities in households affected by paediatric eczema (PMID: 35318044) and revealing the microbial basis of body odour in teenagers (PMID: 30497517). We are now focusing on applying various -omics capabilities to larger sized disease cohorts to understand how microbial pathways and biomarkers change with disease progression and treatment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment, with unique access to next-generation sequencing technologies and a wide range of samples. A Front Desk Assistant Manager with Conrad Hotels and Resorts supervises the activities at the hotel front desk, responsible for assigning work and ensuring the completion of daily tasks, including check-in/check-out, guest requests, concierge services and promotion of in-house activities.

What will I be doing?

As a Front Desk Assistant Manager, you will oversee the front office activities between the Guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. • Supervise Front Desk operations during your assigned shift to a consistently high standard

An Assistant Front Desk Manager with Conrad Hotels and Resorts is responsible for the overall daily operations of the Front Desk in check in and checks out including groups, VIPs and overseeing the availability of rooms.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Front Desk Manager, you are the first point of contact for dealing with all in house guest’s feedback. The position predominately involves face-to-face contact with Guests and represents Senior-level hotel management in their absence. The Laboratory Officer/ Technician will engage in day-to-day operations, housekeeping, maintenance of the high containment (BSL-3) and BSL-2 enhanced laboratories. This role will involve but is not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform lab biohazard waste collection, sort, autoclave, and safe disposal.
• Liaise with biohazard waste contractor for scheduled disposal.
• Manage laboratory supplies, chemical and equipment inventory.
