Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient service and if possible to comply with each guests’ request. Ensure that all telephone calls are handled promptly within three rings.
• Be familiar with all room types and rates in the hotel and their availability status; up-sell whenever possible.
• Take ownership of problems, handle guest complaints promptly according to established procedures and then report to supervisor for further follow up when necessary. Glitch reports are to be written when necessary.
• Ensure guest room security, emergency and fire procedures; encourage the use of Safe Deposit boxes (El-Safe) and adhere to policies & procedures for their use.
• Be familiar with hotel facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events; provide guests with accurate information as requested. Ensure a professional and courteous working relationship and maintain an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Hospitality.
• Able to perform rotating shifts.
• Positive attitude, outgoing personality and good public relations skills.
• Previous experience in hospitality and Opera knowledge will be advantageous.

Job Description:

• Oversee and lead the team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites
• Inspect and examine the workplace to ensure workplace safety compliance
• Identify safety, environmental health non-compliance and recommend measures to rectify
• Liaise with authorities and clients on matters pertaining to environmental, workplace safety issues
• Liaise closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all safety and health issues .
• Conduct & organize internal / external WSH trainings for staffs.
• Conduct incident investigations & propose corrective actions.
• Review OHSMS and provide recommendations for improvement of safety.
• Conduct regular inspection and audits on the safety provisions.
• Conduct, review & submit Risk Assessments.
• Prepare safe work procedures for site activities.

Requirements:

• Specialist Diploma in WSH
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in construction industry
• Possess a valid registration with MOM

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for vendor sourcing for construction materials from international and domestic markets

To assist in reviewing and preparing contractual documents for material purchase

To review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply and pricing options to generate quote comparison sheets

Familiar with construction material and specification

To maintain and update supplier information such as track record, experience, product lines, etc.

To maintain records of all purchases, pricing and other important data as necessary

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma qualification

Has 5 years or more experience as a Procurement officer or an equivalent position

Possesses good knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Able to assess problems and come up with strategies for better solutions

Possesses good written and verbal communication skills

Able to prioritize, multitask and manage time effectively

Has a good eye for detail
