Job Responsibilities:

• Help the Project Manager implement the safety management system for a safe and healthy work environment.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Acts and Regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to check compliance and improve safety standards.
• Monitor adherence to safety requirements and in-house regulations, reporting any issues to the Project Manager.
• Recommend corrective actions for safety non-compliance to enhance site safety.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, suggesting measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with officials from MOM, NEA, and PUB on safety and environmental concerns, taking appropriate actions based on their feedback.
• Conduct safety training and organize promotional activities to raise safety awareness.
• Keep safety documentation current and ready for audits by MOM, NEA, or ISO.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9000, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 45001 standards.
• Participate in risk assessments and manage safety programs.
• Organize campaigns and training to encourage workers to maintain high environmental health standards.
• Support the achievement of safety standards required by the site’s developer.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid registration with MOM as a WSH Officer and with NEA as an ECO.
