• Incident Management, including analysing trends, incident workarounds, monitoring aged incidents.
• Major Incident Management, including communication, being part of the Incident Response Team, managing suppliers
• Problem Management, including chairing any problem meetings, managing active problems, highlighting new problems.
• Release Management – liaising with the testers, vendor, tracking features and defects
• Service Request Management – documenting processes, analysing trends, identifying service improvements, working with teams to design new processes
• Continual Service Improvement – being able to highlight areas of improvement for effectiveness and efficiency
• Service Reporting
• ServiceNow – to assist with the day-to-day management of the tool, including working on incidents and requests

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Good knowledge of ITIL
• Good knowledge of ServiceNow
• Good knowledge/experience of using the Microsoft suite, specifically including SharePoint , Visio and Excel
• Exposure to/familiarity with automation

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology or relevant field.
• Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
• At least 3 years of IT deskside support experiences.
• A good team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to communicate with different audiences and write a range of document types – procedures, comms, training modules.
• Customer centric and focus on service excellence.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Working location: Central, Singapore

You will be part of the team responsible for the operational support of Authority's Service Desk and expected to work independently. Your primary responsibility is to ensure system functionality, availability, data security, and compliance with industry standard.

Be Part of Our Success

• Providing level 1 technical support and respond to user inquiries via phone, email and ticketing system.
• Hardware – installation, maintenance and trouble-shooting.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
• Maintain and update service desk documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Proactively identify and manage potential problems
• Conducting regular checks to ensure all endpoints are patched to the latest version.
• Conducting regular checks to ensure all endpoints and communication devices in meeting rooms are working properly.
• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and software.

Qualities We Value

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support or service desk role.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, communication devices such as skype and video conferencing technology and other tech products.
• Proven track record of excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ITIL certification is a plus
