Job Description

1. Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Chemical Manufacturing
• Position Title: Research Officer (R&D)
• Working Location: Central
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.45 AM – 5.30 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,800 + AWS + Bonus + Transport Allowance + Flexible Benefits
• Duration: Contract (3 years – Renewable)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new technologies for molecular and immunological assays.
• Integrate assays into prototype medical devices.
• Handle ordering and payment using the SAP system.
• Ensure that all assays and processes meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze experimental data to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations for further research.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or relevant discipline
• At least 1 year of relevant research or laboratory R&D experience
• Experience in assay development is an added advantage

Our client is a global MNC in real estate and investment management. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Property Officer be part of their Facilities Team for ongoing transformation projects.

Duties of Property Officer:

• Assist in day-to-day property maintenance and operational support.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor vendor performance to confirm services meet established KPIs.
• Organize and oversee minor repair and improvement work.
• Obtain quotations and coordinate with contractors for repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and standardized systems on-site.
• Be on-call to respond to emergencies and urgent breakdowns.
• Supervise major repair work and assist in annual electrical shutdown events.
• Conduct inspections for building and equipment upkeep.

Requirements:

• Nitec / Diploma in related field
• Relevant experience with Facilities Management / Commercial Building settings
