OVERVIEW

The Producer on the news desk works to pursue first or exclusive interviews with news makers, market movers; and plays an important role in ensuring CNBC’s world-class offering for business and financial news. The Producer also assists the news desk with forward planning, event coverage decisions and maintaining the diary.

The role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and established guests, PRs and key stakeholders. In addition, this role works in conjunction with show teams to develop live segments by finding and booking compelling guests for the shows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Position: Operations Officer (1-Year Contract)
Location: Bendemeer (requires floating to clinics islandwide)

Details:

• Salary: Up to $2,400/month (with 1-month completion bonus).
• Working Hours:Monday to Friday, office hours.
  May be required to work on Saturdays for events.
  
• Vaccination Requirement: Tdap and MMR vaccinations (provided by company if not yet done).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service

• Engage patients and non-patients through phone calls, in-person interactions, and events.
• Handle incoming calls, providing accurate responses to inquiries.
• Distribute promotional materials (flyers, brochures) at clinics, hospitals, and roadshows.
• Maintain professionalism and positivity to enhance customer experience.
• Be available for weekend engagements when required.

2. Administrative & Operational Support

• Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks (e.g., data entry, filing, document management).
• Collaborate with team members on operational projects to improve service delivery.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by management to support organizational goals.

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) advice to all Businesses.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant Safety Management Systems.
• Ensure a safe working environment is made available to all employees, clients and contractors by ensuring that all regulatory HSE requirements are satisfied.
• Company Management Representative for all Safety Management System certifications.

Specific responsibilities:

• Central point of contact for all local HSE related issues.
• Development and maintenance of an effective Health and Safety Management System in line with Group policies and best practices.
• Development of an effective HSE strategy to support continuous improvement.
• Undertake accident/incident investigations and prepare/provide accident/incident reports where necessary.
• Undertake HSE inspections, audits and training where required.
• Provide appropriate advice to managers offering a practical and informed interpretation of Company Policies and H&S legislations in response to routine and non-routine matters to enable all operations to function effectively and consistently within established guidelines.
• To keep appraised of current HSE management best practice and theory in order to effectively advise and ensure relevant application in line with the business objectives, its culture and environment.
• Maintain effective working relationships with key people in all Businesses by ensuring an appropriate level of interaction, including reactive and proactive site visits and regular written/verbal communications.
• Ensure HSE remains a focused strategy and support the management in identifying priorities and monitoring performance against strategic objectives.
• At all times exercise due regard for the health and safety of all in line with Company’s policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to Junior HSE Executive when required.

Requirements:

• Diploma with more than 3 years of working experience
• Must be a registered Workplace Health & Safety Officer with Ministry of Manpower
• Manage and lead the domestic training team
• Able to coordinate and motivate a team towards a common goal
• Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously
• Able to interact with all levels of management, affiliates, suppliers and clients
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Acts quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls
• Works well under pressure, challenges status quo
• Applies judgment and acts according to the company's standards of ethics and integrity
• Skills in coaching people beyond what they believe possible and giving them the freedom to act
• Able to treat people with dignity and fairness
• Able to ensure that process flow documentation is accurate and timely
• Knowledge of HSE management systems and procedures
• This position will be required to base in Jurong Island lab around 2-3 days a week, e.g. (3 days base in the main office at Boon Lay Way, 2 days base in their Lab at Seraya Avenue, Jurong Island).
• Must own transport and registered MOM safety officer
• Salary: Up to $6,000 + transport allowance
• 8.30am to 6.00pm (Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of period-end FA reports (e.g. Fixed Asset Stock-take report, Development Project-in-Progress (DPIP) report, and the Consolidated Fixed Asset Schedule) for management and statutory reporting and audit reviews. This includes reviewing of the asset count, performing FA reconciliation and investigating discrepancies (i.e. add, retire or rectify erroneous transactions reported by users via service requests or identified when reviewing expenditure)
• Review development expenditure to assess correct treatment of expenditures for asset capitalisation, before capitalising the assets.
• Maintain standards of excellence for FA processes by facilitating the learning of HTDs through conducting trainings, providing guidance on FA matters (i.e. ensure FA related SOPs are adhered to) and implementing process changes to strengthen governance and control.
• Participate in automation initiatives and process improvement projects (e.g. use of tools such as RPA bots or data analytics dashboards) to enhance work efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting
• Prior experience in Audit will be an advantage
• Prior experience in using SAP will be an advantage
