1. The RTO shall be accredited by the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) or the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

2. The RTO shall possess relevant work experience in the supervision of LTA Roads, Viaducts/Bridge, Bus Depot, A&A works, and CAG/PUB.

3. Working Location: CAG, PUB, and LTA Projects, Singapore.

Job Description

1. The RTO Shall supervise all civil, structural including structural elements for Bridge / Viaducts, Roads, and specialist engineering works for compliance with the LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

2. The RTO shall be independent and energetic to perform permanent shift work and project management work.

3. The RTO shall be competent with all necessary Ministry of Manpower WS requirements e.g. Work-At- Height (WAH), Lifting work, Permit-To-Work (PTW), etc.

4. Proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint, and maintaining of proper daily work progress record.

About our client: Our client is in the facilities management industry.

About the role:

• To provide supervision and ensure that all repair and routine maintenance works undertaken by the contractors are carried out properly and completed satisfactorily by the terms and conditions of the Contract.
• Schedule and ensure breakdown, preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out effectively.
• Perform regular inspections and handle enforcement work at the common property areas and to ensure that such common property is in satisfactory and serviceable condition and properly maintained according to the standards required by the relevant authorities and to recommend any works which are necessary.
• Certify completion of jobs undertaken by contractors and to make recommendation for payment thereof.
• To co-ordinate all consultancy works on maintenance matters performed by professional consultants and apply and obtain all necessary licenses and certificates from the relevant authorities where necessary.
• Responsible of investigate, check and analyze reported breakdowns and faults to determine their cause for the prevention of future occurrences.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your Manager.

About you:

• Diploma in Facilities Management Services / Estate Management / Building Maintenance / Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• ITE with relevant township experience can be considered.
• Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work on weekends/ PHs where required
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
