Contract Period:

From 15 Jan 2025 for 10 months to 20 months depending on the project requirement

Duties and responsibilities:

· To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.

· To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions.

· To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Client, SO, SOR, QP and Resident Engineer.

· To ensure that the structural elements or critical works of the construction works are being
carried out in accordance with the approved plans and with any terms and conditions imposed by the Commissioner of Building Control where necessary.

· To ensure that proper and updated records of all works, including records of variation works, tests, inspections, work progress, materials and equipment/machinery on site, labour safety, provisional quantities, dayworks, etc, are kept.

· To take and carry out instructions from and represent the Client, SO, SOR, QP and Resident Engineer/Architect on site.

Shall possess the following minimum requirements and practical experience stipulated below:

· Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent certificate from a recognized institution/university or acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control.

· Registered RTO (with BCA / IES / ACES) with Min. 5 years of RTO experience, institutional Project working experience preferred

· Good understanding in construction drawings and specification for Structural and / or Architectural works

• Sourcing and procurement: Finding and acquiring new products to meet business needs, and building relationships with suppliers
• Purchase orders: Preparing and issuing purchase orders accurately and on time
• Inventory management: Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock replenishment, and overseeing stock aging
• Reporting: Preparing detailed reports and updates as required

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a WSHO, preferably in LTA and tunneling projects.
