· In-charge-of Purchasing Functions, sourcing, recommending and negotiating of/with suppliers

· Procurement of correct quantity and quality of goods to maintain continuous operation at the same time keeping the inventory at the lowest safe level.

· Ensure timely delivery and constant monitoring of all outstanding orders.

· Conduct yearly reviews with key suppliers.

· Establishing agreements for key commodities.

· Establishing and maintaining good communication with all departments to ensure efficient communications.

· Compile purchasing cost saving report

· All Purchasing related administrative work

Requirements

· Diploma in Engineering or O Level with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment.

· Possess outstanding interpersonal and strong negotiation skills, ability to work independently.

· Experience in vendor quality management and practices in purchasing & inventory management.

• Ensure the quality and quantity of food/ logistics items before delivery.
• Loading/ unloading catering items into/ off the assigned vehicle.
• Deliver catering items, set-up and dismantle catering buffet at various locations according to standard procedures.
• Communicate with customers on the set-up requirements and related enquires with patience and professional manner.
• Enhance the buffet set-up by using different decorations/ props when necessary.
• Ensure the cleanliness and condition of assigned vehicle.
• Perform food safety, work safety and road safety rules and policies at all times.
• Cooperate and communicate with other departments for any necessary arrangement/ issues regarding customers’ orders.
• Report immediately to superiors if there is any operational inconsistencies, incidents or accidents.
• Perform any other duties to be assigned from time to time by superiors.
