Position Overview:
The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company, including product development, software architecture, technology strategy, and IT operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align the company’s technology with its business goals, lead a high-performing technical team, and ensure the delivery of scalable and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s technical strategy in alignment with business goals. Identify and implement innovative technologies that give the company a competitive advantage.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of products and services. Ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to define business strategies and objectives. Provide insights on technological trends and advise on the potential impact on the company’s operations and strategy.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget. Ensure cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality technology standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks related to data security, system reliability, and project delivery. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and partners. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Innovation and R&D: Lead research and development efforts to explore emerging technologies. Evaluate their potential application to enhance products, services, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as a CTO or similar.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling technical teams.
- Strong understanding of software development, architecture, and agile methodologies.
- Experience with cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

- Experience in IT industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in IT industry.
- Experience in scaling startups or leading technology transformations in established companies.
