• Support continuous improvement throughout the development life cycle of enterprise level software solutions. This includes enhancing / maintaining of software applications.
• Perform system integration testing and troubleshooting of software application issues.
• Conducts unit testing using unit test frameworks.
• Create and maintain documentation for software design specifications.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Computing/Information Technology or related field
• Possess good analytical, problem-solving skills
• Should have at least 2 years of development experience in Java

Responsibilities:
• The candidate will be part of a horizontal team delivering core capabilities and products.
• The candidate's main expertise is to be Python, Django framework, and FastAPI.
• Responsible to design, develop and maintain service layer for business logics and APIs for the product.
• Prior/hands-on experience in Data Engineering ETL, SQL, generative-AI, NLP are preferred.
• He/she is expected to be resourceful, committed and meticulous.

• At least 5 years of Java development experience.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Able to review solution design and perform code review.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, written and communication skills.
• Experience with Spring Framework or Python with Django/Flask experience.

Summary:
• The successful candidate will support Data Ingestion Framework (DIF). DIF provides a configurable and extensible ingestion service to bring data from source location to the target with pre-defined schema. It has inbuilt connectors (e.g., SharePoint, SFTP, RDBMS, and REST API) and parsers (e.g., CSV, Excel, and JSON) to support transformation/extraction of source data into structured format. In addition, DIF can also be extended with customization to support more bespoke or proprietary data sources and formats. It allows new ingestion pipelines to be set up by inserting ingestion job configurations without the coding and development effort.

• Candidate is currently based in Singapore, and can join in two months' period.
• A good degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related fields.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in web application development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Knowledge on Tableau server administration is a plus.
