Primary Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the design, development and testing of the applications (including but not limited to SQL, .NET core, ASP, HTML/CSS, Web services, Angular/JS).
2. Responsible for producing deliverables (including but not limited to application source code, technical specification documentation, Unit testing, code review, implementation instructions) over the various phases of the Software Development Life cycle.
3. Development of code for the applications in accordance with Company's requirements, approved design and specifications.
4. Coordinate with the Offshore resources and MBS to become the single point of contact.
5. Perform unit testing and provide support for Quality Analysis and User Acceptance Testing, including resolving any defects in developed applications.
6. Respond to and resolve any queries related to application development.
7. Any other tasks and works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

1. A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Science, IT, Engineering or related field from a recognized university.

1. A minimum of 3 years development experience with strong understanding of requirements for design, coding and testing of information systems.
2. Strong knowledge and experience with .NET related products.
3. Knowledge of integration technologies and DevOps and CI/CD will be additional advantage.
4. Strong knowledge of development, implementation and production processes.
5. Demonstrates the ability to operate independently to design, develop and implement software.
6. Experience in using version management tools such as Azure DevOps and GIT.

The Opportunity

We own, evolve and support the technology platforms that handle the post-execution processing for the Securities Execution, Prime Clearing, and Prime Brokerage businesses. This includes exchange and broker trade processing, internal firm/firm trades and client delivery across physical and synthetic products. We are at the start of a multi-year convergence program to deliver all of these businesses onto a single, high scalable platform, enabling business growth with reduced operational costs.

About the team

Our team consists of 19 people in Singapore and around 100 globally. Almost all of our projects are cross-location and cross-function, meaning we work directly with Front Office, Operations, Legal, Tax, and our Engineering colleagues from those areas, across the wider firm.

We work directly with Operations and Securities sales/trading, to design and implement, a wide range of functions including trade aggregators, trade matchers, payment systems, intercompany trade booking and settlement systems, and connectivity to exchanges, counterparties and vendors. Our Exception Workflow and Business Intelligence tooling allows our Operations teams to respond to client enquiries and monitor service levels.
