Main Function

The Quantitative Development team works directly with quantitative researchers to design, implement, deploy and use software for research and trading. As part of the technology team, the team follows modern software development principles and works with peers in technology to mature and evolve these tools for wider use. Quantitative developers drive cross-team initiatives with technologists and quantitative researchers across all asset classes to achieve Squarepoint’s objectives.

You will:

• Work with quantitative researchers to design and build efficient and scalable workflows for research and trading
• Collaborate closely with team members and peers in technology to ensure global consistency and maximize re-use of software components
• Assume strong ownership of projects throughout their full engineering lifecycle
• Provide level 2 support for critical components

Must have qualifications:

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WPF Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WPF Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative Windows desktop applications using the Windows Presentation Foundation framework. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, a passion for creating seamless user experiences, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement desktop applications using WPF, XAML, and MVVM architecture.

Architecture and Design: Collaborate with architects and other team members to design AEM solutions that align with best practices, client

Integration: Integrate AEM with various third-party systems and APIs, utilising AWS services for seamless data exchange and CDN for content

Performance Optimisation: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimise AEM applications for speed and scalability, leveraging

AWS cloud resources.

Infrastructure Automation: Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions, automating deployment and scaling processes using

AWS CloudFormation or similar tools.

Migration: Involve in POCs and implementation of Migration AEM to Cloud

Content Delivery Network (CDN): Configure and optimize CDN services to improve website load times and content delivery efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and ensure the overall quality of AEM solutions and associated infrastructure.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for AEM projects, architecture diagrams, infrastructure setups, and code

documentation.

Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on AEM best practices, AWS, CDN, and infrastructure automation standards.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during the development process, utilising AWS tools and services.

Technical AEM

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in AEM development, with strong proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related technologies.

Expertise in Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience with AEM component development, templates, workflows, content fragments and experience fragments.

Solid understanding of AEM building blocks, including Sites, Assets, and Forms.

Experience with AEM integrations, including third-party APIs and systems.

Must have experience in working with AEM version 6.5 or above.

Experience in working with AEM migration projects.

Experience in working with AEM as a Cloud Service or migration from On-Prem/Adobe managed service to Cloud Service.
