Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Experience in scripting and automation, database management, with a focus on maintainability and support
• Automation in SAP, EXCEL, WORD and PDF
• Accessing network and saving files, capturing images/snapshots via webcam, phone or tablet camera
• Preferred programming language knowledge (VBA, Python, Auto Hotkey, C#, others)

• Design, implement, test, and deploy end-to-end software solutions in the T&O-MOT-LCS domain with the following key responsibilities
• Hands-on experience with JAVA (Spring, Springboot) in a Unix/ Linux environment
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL, NoSQL, MariaDB or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
• Experience in CI-CD tools like Bitbucket Jenkins, Nexus, JIRA, confluence.A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working with a back-office development team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the software solution for a high volume and performance intensive back office.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

Requirements gathering.

• Design, development, and maintenance of the software.
• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture
• Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and others documents as required in the standard adopted by the Authority.
• Assist the Authority with day-to-day application support issues.
• Liaise with users on the requirement, design and testing issues.

Required Skills and experience:-

• Degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in software development.
• Gone through at least one full (SDLC) with experience in producing SDLC documentations.
• Extensive experience in analysing requirements, designing,development and delivering complex enterprise applications in Java/JEE, web programming on UNIX / LINUX and Windows environment.
• Experience in Agile development methodology and continuous integration.
• Experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot will be an advantage.
• Experience in Message Queues.
• Experience in Solace will be an advantage.
• Experience in Software Modernization, Containerization,Microservices will be an advantage.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Solution the design and develop the software using waterfall/Agile methodology.

• Perform investigation, troubleshoot issues by developing scripts, SQL queries.

• Work closely and collaborate with the Business Analysts and Quality Engineers / application testers for user stories elaboration, test automation, bug fixes etc.

• Work with deployment team/DevOps team on setting up continuous integration, build and release automation.

Responsibilities:

   Ensure data security through row-level security and understand Power BIs security models.

   Understand financial terms and banking environments, where applicable, to ensure reports meet business needs.
   
5. Technical and Functional Expertise:Design and develop data models and technical specifications for reporting applications.
   Continuously improve and update existing business intelligence systems to meet evolving business needs.
   
6. Agile Development:Perform effectively in an agile development environment, prioritizing continuous development and adapting to changing requirements.
   
7. Technical Tools and Frameworks:Leverage tools like Power Query, MDX, Power BI, DAX, and SSRS for report generation and data analysis.

Requirements:

1. Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development and design.
   Proven experience in developing and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and reports.
   Experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX.
   
2. Skills & Knowledge:Strong understanding of database concepts (e.g., relational databases, multidimensional database design, etc.).
   Familiarity with data lake, Datawarehouse, DBMS, OLAP, and ETL frameworks.
   Knowledge of SSAS, SSRS, SQL, and SSIS is essential.
   Experience in Python scripting is a plus.
   
3. Communication & Collaboration:Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between technical and business teams.
   Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
   
4. Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
   An understanding of financial terms and/or previous experience in a Banking/Financial Institution (FI) environment is preferred.
   
5. Additional Skills:Experience in designing data models that transform raw data into actionable insights.
