Responsibilities

Qualifications & experience

• At least a Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or equivalent qualification with 7 years’ experience in residential interior design
• Required skill(s): AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, Enscape, Microsoft Office
• Able to multi-task and work as an individual or part of a team in dynamic environment
• Demonstrate positive attitude and responsibility
• Willing to learn and self motivated

This will be a 2 years contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to outline goals and challenges
• Propose user-centric approaches to improving products and services.
• Promote user research activities via co-creation workshops, focus group discussions, stakeholder interviews, and surveys
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
• Develop storyboards, user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes, or other methods to prove concepts and demonstrate value.
• Incorporate corporate design systems and usability as well as good customer experience into products and services.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Human Computer Interactions, Design, Psychology, Computer Sciences or related disciplines
• At least 8 years of UX experience
• A portfolio that demonstrates experience in service design, design research, interaction design and product strategy.
• Expertise with design tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Axure, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional team
• Highly organizational; good presentation, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Critical thinking skills with a sharp analytical mind and astute design judgment

Creation of thematic graphic visuals in representations of modelling thematic structures and event space planning

· Coordination and liaison with relevant teams and parties on data and compliance required for design specifications to ensure a seamless service to our clients.

· The designer will be trained in designing for large format prints such as on canvas and sticker materials used by advertising agencies. Understanding this would aid the designer in design decisions such as working to scale and identifying problems that may occur at print and to take relevant precautions.

· The designer is expected to learn to convert artwork sent for print into machine-readable format via illustrator and photo shop such as eps, pdf, tiff and learn the intrinsic differences between these as well as learning RGB, sRGB, and CMYK differences. They will know what format is supported for which purpose.

· The designer will also undertake the designing of exhibitions and collaterals and stage backdrops while being guided by an experienced team. The designer will get to learn how to work within limitations such as budget and materials.

· The designer will be involved in the designing of event brandings and various other graphic design application via print media.

• Assist client in developing design brief
• Conduct pre-design research on regulatory requirements
• Conduct site investigation i.e. check RLP, SIP, DIP and other necessary regulations
• Brainstorm ideas and develop initial design
• Ensure initial design complies with regulatory requirements
• Consult authorities on specific regulatory requirements
• Assist client to refine design brief
• Further develop the design in detail to meet requirements for Development Control Submissions and all other relevant regulatory requirements
