• Formulate space planning, concept development and interior design conceptualisation
• Generate 3D Computerised perspective drawings and all construction detail drawings
• Prepare presentation such as design intent, colour scheme and material board
• Prepare for Construction Specification / Design Documentations / Material Selection
• Communicate and liaise with contractors, consultants, and project managers on all project matters
• Prepare and compile costing for building and interior works
• Lead, supervise and manage all design and projects schedules
• Prepare schedule of finishes and project management schedules
• Brief and explain to contractors on proposed design intents and finishes

Requirements

• Possess minimum Diploma / Degree in related discipline
• Preferably minimum 3 year working experience in Architecture / Interior Design for Commercial and Industrial Projects
• Competent in Autocad, 3D Studio Max, V-ray, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office
• Able to independently design and prepare full sets of drawings from design intent to construction detailing
• Possess a good knowledge of construction materials and various technical and building codes
• Able to multi-task and meet project schedule
• Committed and able to work independently
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good leadership skills with strong technical expertise
• Highly motivated, confident, eloquent with good interpersonal skills
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Words, PowerPoint, etc
• Willing to work in the West

The International Team in Coinbase is tasked with expanding the presence and reach of Coinbase products to countries across the globe. The team has supported various initiatives across countries like Australia, India, Singapore and Brazil and there’s more to come. As a close partner to Product and Engineering, Coinbase Design team plays a critical role in executing on the company vision. We take on hard user experience problems to deliver delightful and easy-to-use products from very complex technical challenges. You'll help design our flagship products for the largest user base in crypto and define user experiences for entirely new features that the ecosystem has not seen before.

You’ll design the following as a part of your role:

• Product Improvements - One of the key levers we have at our disposal to grow our user base in key markets is to improve our product to make it the easiest to use in each market. Key areas of product improvement include:

- Localization - regularly checking our products for correct translations and areas that could benefit from better localization. Recommending areas that could be better improved to fit with cultural context. Our product should feel local in each of our markets.

-Onboarding - Each country has specific onboarding requirements, you will be working closely with the onboarding team to ensure that the best UX is provided to users whilst being compliant with local requirements.

• Market research / Analysis - Helping the research team and country pod to conduct a holistic analysis of competitive dynamics in the market. Helping to run regular user testing and research sessions, documenting results and outlining opportunities presented. Having a deep understanding of Coinbase metrics within the region.
• Legal / Regulatory - Assisting the team in building out a compliant yet delightful experience. Regulation can change quickly and the appropriate candidate needs to be capable of producing well crafted solutions in a short space of time.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

• Work in a small team to iteratively improve the user experience.
• Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production.
• Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive.
• Participate in regular design reviews where you’ll seek out specific feedback on your designs and incorporate relevant feedback.
• Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy.
• Daily collaboration with Engineering, User Research, and Product.

What we look for in you:

• 3+ years of professional Product Design experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile
• Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with engineers, user researchers, and product teams
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Low ego, collaborative, and open minded
