Royal Ocean Marine is a leading headhunting /recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry. We are currently seeking an Assistant Group Tax Manager to join our client's team. As the Assistant Group Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with international tax regulations and optimizing the group's transfer pricing policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of transfer pricing strategies and policies across the company.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing transfer pricing agreements, identifying areas for improvement and proposing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance and optimize tax efficiency.
• Work closely with various departments within the organization, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure accurate and timely transfer pricing documentation.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors to manage transfer pricing audits and resolve any tax-related disputes or issues.
• Stay updated on changes in international tax regulations and transfer pricing guidelines, providing proactive advice and recommendations to ensure the group's compliance.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of relevant reports and documentation required by tax authorities.
• Support the Group Tax Manager in ad hoc tax-related projects and initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transfer pricing or tax advisory, preferably within the maritime or shipping industry.
• Strong knowledge of international tax regulations and transfer pricing principles.
• Proficient in using tax software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

GENERAL FUNCTION 

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for ensuring the overall supply chain activities on asset and warehouse management. The Warehouse assistant must be proactive in delivering the necessary tasks as required.

TASKS

General

• Maintain & update asset tracking.
• Ensure items stored in the warehouse as per supply chain policy & procedures.
• Update stock records in Latis software for every transaction.
• Ensuring the quantity and quality of materials during delivery and validate with the requestor
• Follow up the maintenance of equipment in the warehouse.

Management

• Ensuring all activities are conducted timely

• Ensure all proper warehouse documentation is in order and secure.

• Ensure all materials in the warehouse are placed in a clean and neat manner.
• Ensure materials are categorised correctly and for ease of accessibility and first in first out (FIFO) basis.
• Ensure optimum utilization of storage space.
