The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a new interdisciplinary school formed by integrating the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) from College of Engineering and the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry (CBC) from College of Science. CCEB faculty members conduct cutting-edge research in diverse areas of chemistry, chemical engineering, food science, bioengineering, biotechnology, and other fields.

We invite outstanding candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with a research focus in the area of Single-Cell Analysis. Applicants should have a well-defined research vision and an outstanding track record of publications in top journals. Successful candidates are expected to develop innovative, internationally visible, and extramurally funded research programs. We are also seeking candidates with outstanding capacity to teach related topics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including mentoring and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students. Some school and university services will be expected of the successful candidates.

Requirements

We are seeking individuals with expertise and a proven track record in fields related to single-cell biology, including but not limited to single-cell genomics and transcriptomics, single-cell microscopy, spatial genomics and transcriptomics, image-omics, in situ sequencing, molecular biophysics, single molecule spectroscopy, computational biology and bioinformatics, biostatistics, and systems biology.

Emoluments

The commencing salary will depend on the candidates' qualifications, experience, and the level of appointment offered.

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is a unique department at NTU Singapore, advancing cutting-edge education and research in diverse areas of chemistry, chemical engineering, bio(medical)engineering, biotechnology, and other relevant multidisciplinary fields. CCEB invites applications for the area of Sustainability Engineering at the Assistant Professor level. Possible areas include but are not limited to data driven energy system modelling, carbon economics, logistics and supply chain management, and/or techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment, particularly in the context of sustainability and circularity.

We are open to expanding these areas as well as entering new fields. Applicants should hold a Ph.D in a related science or engineering field by the beginning of employment and should have demonstrated experience in the related research. Preference will be given to individuals with foundational training in chemical engineering or closely related disciplines. Under special circumstances, an untenured associate or senior faculty appointment is possible, commensurate with experience. Faculty duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the related subjects and developing course materials, conducting original scholarly research, as well as advising, supervising, training, and mentoring students and junior researchers. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies aligned with business goals.
