RESPONSIBILITIES

MAIN PURPOSE / OBJECTIVES:

• The Assistant Director, Community and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of community services and youth mental health programmes. He/she will provide professional and operational oversight for clinical and social work components in CYMH.

• This position will supervise the Manager, Youth Development Centre (YDC) to ensure smooth planning and implementation of programmes for youths at the drop in centre, child access services and youth mental health programmes. This will include guiding staff and executing the pivoting of YDC from its current focus to professionally grounded youth mental health and developing the activities and programmes needed from scratch.

• This position will also provide professional supervision to develop and implement youth mental health programmes that are able to reach a broad spectrum of youths to build resilience as well as supervise the team to provide case management and basic level counselling/triage for low to moderate level of youth mental health concerns. This will include ensuring that funders' KPIs and obligations are met.

• This position will also supervise the Manager, Kids in Play (KIP) to ensure strategic planning, and provide strong professional oversight to enable KIP to continue to be well established as a clinically sound service provider and continue to grow KIP's social work and clinical practice in the corrections landscape. This position will also front engagements with government agencies such as Prisons and NCSS, using his/her professional standing and capability to build a strong reputation for KIP and enable collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure continual financial support for all KIP programmes. He/she will also work with relevant agencies such as NCSS on assessment/evaluation tools and how they are to be implemented appropriately to ensure KIP is fairly assessed.

Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a proactive and motivated research assistant to join the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein at the National University of Singapore (NUS) launched on 5 September 2024, the first of its kind in Asia to advance research in alternative proteins. Led by experts from NUS and research institutes in Singapore, the Centre aims to drive global food security and accelerate regional innovation. The focus will be on microalgae research and biomass fermentation, to produce high-quality, affordable, and sustainable microbial proteins from microalgae and biomass fermentation that can be further developed into cultured meat and plant-based protein hybrids. Microbial proteins will be cultivated through fermentation and processed using emerging bio-physical techniques for effective biotransformation, to improve digestibility, flavour, and nutritional profile. As a research assistant, you will assist with conducting and monitoring microalgal cultivation bioprocesses via analytical techniques to achieve maximal product titres, yields, and rates. You will also assist with processing the microbial proteins for optimal digestibility, flavour, and nutritional profiles. The candidate will work closely with postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers. Appointments will be initially made on a 1-year contract, renewable for up to 5 years.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research activities in accordance with the Centre objectives involving but not limited to:
i. Conversion of industrial food side-streams into media suitable for microalgae cultivation.
ii. Microalgae cultivations in flask and benchtop bioreactors under batch, fed batch, or continuous modes.
iii. Conduct chromatographic, spectroscopic, and fluorescent analyses to monitor microalgae growth.
iv. Monitor the success of bio-physical techniques via in vitro digestibility studies, chromatography, and advanced microscopic analyses.
v. Assist in scaling up cultivations to pilot scale setting.
- Assist in data analysis and preparing formal reports, publications, and presentations.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

• Administrative support to Top management, including but not limited to calendar management, meetings (internal/external) coordination, travel arrangements, expense claims.

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to help Doctor Anywhere to help in driving growth of the company.

The ideal candidate will need to have exceptional drive and energy to work in fast-paced environment, a can-do attitude and a mindset of continuous improvement and change.

The contract period would be 1 year with opportunity to be converted for a full-time position thereafter.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows

• Receiving & checking of invoices for delivery orders to ensure items received in good condition.
• Unload and shelve goods appropriately in an organised manner.
• Assist in picking, packing, sealing and dispatching goods to customers & subsidiary clinics.
• Monitor and track supply distribution and interaction with logistics movers.
• Perform regular stock reconciliation counts.
• Responsible for warehouse storage area tidiness and cleanliness.
• Perform duties in accordance with good distribution practice guidelines.
• Ensure proper administration and documentation of all goods movement.
• Any other ad hoc duties as needed.
• Working hours: Mon-Thu (8:30am-6:30pm), Fri (8:30am-5:30pm)

About you

• Minimally GCE ‘O’ levels and above
• Possess at least 1 - 2 years prior experience in a logistics setting.
• Prior experience in drug or medical equipment warehouse operations is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and IT applications.

The Infectious Diseases Translational Research Program (IDTRP) at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for the position of tenure track Assistant Professor. We seek an exceptional and motivated individual to develop and lead a research program in infectious diseases, with a focus on translational research that bridges fundamental discoveries and clinical applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise and interests in microbial interactions inside the gut, and their impact on health and disease. Key Responsibilities

• Establish an independent, externally funded research program in infectious diseases with an emphasis on translational approaches.
• Conduct cutting-edge research that contributes to IDTRP’s goals, including vaccine development, antimicrobial resistance, pathogen-host interactions, and public health interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including clinicians, scientists, and other stakeholders to drive impactful research.
• Mentor and supervise undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers.

Qualifications

Essential:

As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, you are responsible to support the day-to-day operations of the Care and Call Centre (CareHub) to meet CareHub’s service standards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver a positive customer experience for residents and community partners who reach in to CareHub for support to age well in the community.

You will work closely with stakeholders and the CareHub team including Call Centre Officers (CCOs) who are helming CareHub, to draft, develop and implement requirements (including IT systems) and collaborative workflows and SOPs to bring plans into reality dovetailed to implementation timeline, organisation’s strategies, priorities and national’s directives. You will ensure that CCOs are properly trained and supported by a relevant knowledge management system to support handling of enquiries in the most professional and timely manner.

You will have the opportunity to support the developmental plans and partnerships of CareHub by driving and facilitating conversations with stakeholders and community partners to further develop CareHub and review CareHub’s functions and initiatives which improve outcomes in tandem with the wider community ecosystem.

Another key accountability is data visualization and reporting of CareHub’s KPIs and standards to stakeholders and senior management in a timely manner. Support in the implementation of CareHub’s functions and IT systems through monitoring and tracking of timelines, translating plans and requirements into actionable workflows, development/review of SOPs to working collaboratively with stakeholders, vendors and users to propose go-forward solutions to meet implementation timeline
3. Facilitate collaborative conversations and change management with presentation slides internally and with stakeholders to further develop CareHub’s functions and facilitate adoption of new/improved workflows and SOPs
4. Support in the continuous development and implementation of projects and quality initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency with a focus on providing a positive customer experience in line with CareHub’s standards and KPIs.
5. Risk management incorporated in workflows and SOPs
6. Ensure that Call Centre Officers are competent and trained in the most efficient and timely manner supported by a relevant knowledge management system
7. Data visualization and reporting of CareHub’s KPIs and standards to stakeholders and senior management in a concise and timely manner
8. Utilise data driven approach to identify opportunities and forecast growth areas / trends to further develop CareHub
9. Keep abreast of the current issues impacting the healthcare industry and conduct periodic scanning for new ways and modes which CareHub could better support our residents and partners
