The Research Assistant will be expected to engage in projects around 5G Digital Telecommunication Platform for Cyber Exercises under the Future Communications R&D Programme (FCP) Office in SUTD. Additionally, he/she will also have teaching responsibilities and will be expected to assist in the supervision of graduate students in Cybersecurity. The candidate must be comfortable with both team and independent work, and possess a proven record of scientific excellence, personal initiative, and proficiency in communicating scientific findings in journals and at professional meetings. Excellent command of English is essential.

The position will be located within the Pillar of Information Systems Technology & Design at SUTD. The team will be supervised by Assoc Prof Binbin Chen and Yeaz Jaddoo respectively.

Required qualifications:

• MSc in Electrical/Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Applied Mathematics or equivalent disciplines;
• Research experience in either one of the following areas: Cybersecurity, Secure Software Engineering, or Machine Learning
• Excellent skills in programming (preferably Python). Fluency in modern distributed ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe)

The role of Senior Business Analyst based in Singapore, is required to support monthly management reporting and forecasting, annual budgeting, and any other ad-hoc projects in Global Spares & Service Business Unit (GSS). In addition, this role will serve as a financial business partner to the Director of Sales & Service in Japan.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all forecast submissions for Global Spares & Service
• Consolidate and review forecast financial results of Global Spares & Service
• Work with Global Operation finance and review supplychain cost allocation

• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles eg. IFRS 15.
