Job Scope

• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing of the service of the Restaurant.
• In-charging the restaurant when Restaurant Manager is not around.
• Greeting and coordinating the guests’ seats and assign guests to tables suitable to the size of each group.
• Recording and reporting all food-related complaints to the Chef immediately.
• Ensuring team briefings are carried out before each service period.
• Promoting the restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a regular customer database and personalising customer service.
• Maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness, the maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the Restaurant and connected areas or pantries.
• Participating in monthly physical stocktake of the Restaurant, including but not limited to glassware, plate and crockery.
• Assisting the Restaurant Manager in implementing and developing training programs.
• Monitoring inventory levels.
• Preparing daily report when Restaurant Manager is not around.
• Reporting restaurant’s situation daily to Restaurant Manager.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirement

• GCE O Level and above
• 1 – 3 years related experience in F&B Managerial positions

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the accounts receivable cycle, from invoice issuance to customer collections.
• Analyse customer accounts, identify potential collection issues, and proactively implement corrective actions to minimize
• delinquencies.
• Investigate and resolve overdue accounts using effective collection strategies to maximize recoveries.
• Prepare and issue accurate invoices, customer statements, and credit memos in a timely manner.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date accounts receivable records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, and in writing to collect outstanding balances while maintaining
• positive relationships.
• Ensure adherence to company credit policies and procedures, including Singaporean accounting standards (Singapore Financial
• Reporting Standards - SFRS(I)).
• Generate reports and analyze AR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in the collections process.
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales, customer service, and accounting to ensure smooth operations and efficient
• resolution of customer inquiries.
• May supervise or lead a team of junior AR personnel (depending on the company).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex AR issues.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
• Working knowledge of Singaporean accounting practices and regulations (SFRS(I)) is essential.
• Candidate must be willing to travel to 20 Jalan Lekar once or twice a week.
